Thank you very much ☺️. The rex can be tough that's for sure! The easiest way to play rex is Facetank and balance tail! But my build is a bit more harder to play cuz it's all about timing and lives and dies around proper timing of the deep Rumford apex fights, and proper timing of the BB for mid to low tiers.
Face tank and balanced tail is a strong defense build but you will only kill other apexs or Dino's that wish to fight to the death, whereas with Bone break you can hunt and kill anything and keeps the smaller faster Dino's in place for the kill but it takes more skill to use properly.
Amazing content. Did some combat analysis for learning how to Rex (I mainly play on Eo or modded Therizino). I would love to have a 1v1 with you sometime.

Facetank is very good and necessary for solo. Facetank with deep rumble will win every time 1v1. If they try to face tank you like a rex or EO would, then make sure to back pedal precise move or else their head will reach to your torso and not count the facetank ability.
Face tank is best for fighting apexs, but it's hard to kill mid to low tiers, if your good enough you can still out play apexs with bone break and still have the potential to hunt and kill everything. With Facetank you can kill Apexs easier but the only kills you will get on mid and low tiers is when they decide to stay and fight you and you catch them on the way in. So in short face tank limits you capabilities as a rex, but is easier.

Rex is my main as well, I’ve gotten very good at it but I suck with bonebreak. I usually go facetank and I’m starting to use tail attack more often. Yesterday I killed a full defense bars with my Rex, super proud of it, and nice going in your pvp dude! Together, we Rexes can humble the Eos. Ngl, as an apex, once you figure out how to kill Eos, the rest are easy.
I have a friend in a community server who plays rex almost identical to you, he mightve watched your videos! Or if he didn't, im sure i will recomend them to him!! :] When i fight hes rex as my stego, it always ends close, even if i or him wins, super fun.

Ok jeez I didn’t know those defensive buffs like 20% buffed you that much, Ive never really been able to notice how much something like 15% or 30% increases something but after a lot of hits you notice how much it helps, that buff call let you facetank a creature with the same stats (rex) and have like a whole third of your hp left, its a MUST HAVE for me to pop these buffs before fights or whenever I have the time to pop it from now on lol, as I usually just don’t use it fighting other rexes as it leaves me open to free hits.
I play on official servers. It was tough to learn to fight mixpacks or avoid the even bigger unwinnable mixpacks. Sometimes you just get caught out and die, it happens, but it's important to read your opponents body language to see if they are stalling for their mixpack or following you so they can mixpack. If you are trying to avoid mixpacks try to always stay on the move with an gameplan to get out.
If there is more than 3 achilos and your a solo you probably won't win but if the is two or three you have to try timing a stomp after you shake them off or on the way in, also if they pounce on your front shoulder you can walk in a circle with your head in the direction of the achillo that is on you and bone break him and shake him off and stomp

@@ambush501st Yeah use it against every apex not rex, you will facetank them afterwards, the new stomp changes are so great, you can basically whip it out anytime you want except full on sprinting, the mids DO NOT like that lel.
I try and time the stomp or bite them in the way in, if they do get on you then I just shake them off and try and time a stomp when they fall / jump off. Its the best you can do. Also if they pounce on your front shoulder then you can walk In a circle putting your head in the direction they are on you shoulder and bone break them off you this will garientee then to be cc'd which you can then secure the kill
I fully expected to see myself on here, but I guess you are running Albino and not Mel. There’s been an ambushing Melanistic solo Rex in BQL officials, it has caught me twice on 2 separate instances. I ran through the same spot on my pyc/alberta, and it bb and killed me both times. It hid in this spot where it’s invisible to anyone walking by. I thought this was it 😂
I do also have the melanistic skin for my rex unlocked, but I find the albino strikes fear into my opponents more 😂. It's too easy to hide with the Mel skin.

Yeah for sure I wish the duck did fight back 😂. Far too many players I face either run on sight or when they start to get low HP in a fight turn and try and run which just makes the fight look more lame at least for the video clips
@ambush501st or their pvp skills aren't that great or they lack confidence in them. I personally am not the greatest pvp player hence I'm always on dms to get practice without the fear of losing progress or marks.

I actually have given that some thought. I have just held off because I have a huge collection of trophys in my home cave and the devs said they was going to add it to where you could transfer your Dino's form one map the other, so I didn't want to restart and the when they do allow the switch between map I end up left with the new rex I made and not my og one
@@ambush501st that's fair, I've basically remade my rex identical to my panjura one on gondwa. Though it's rare I play gondwa. Panjura is getting very toxic thought. And I'm not 100% sure but I think facetank is broken. I hardly ever lose a 1v1 in a rex fight but since the last update its like I'm taking more damage to the head instead of less. Need to test it with some friends
Yeah there's toxicity on gondwa too. But it's better to try and be a better person in and among the bad. I myself don't use face tank on my build but I'll try and see if its not working as well

Yeah Eos are dangerous for sure! I will say that if a rex uses his deep rumble at the right time the rex can tank the eo damage even with sharpen up and kill the eo but it is very close.

If they sharpen and hit you with change while your deep rumble is down they win for sure. If they sharpen and hit you with change and your deep rumble is up it will come down to who hits who first and you can't miss a bite on them. It is a very though fight for sure.

No I'm the +3% damage sub species, but I believe the BB sub only gives you more damage on the BB bite

Yeah there's definitely a timing to but if you can put play them by using your buffs or cc properly, it makes a huge difference
What server are you playing on? My experience is just get rekt by mixpacks.

@@ambush501st that's fair, I've basically remade my rex identical to my panjura one on gondwa. Though it's rare I play gondwa. Panjura is getting very toxic thought. And I'm not 100% sure but I think facetank is broken. I hardly ever lose a 1v1 in a rex fight but since the last update its like I'm taking more damage to the head instead of less. Need to test it with some friends
Yeah there's toxicity on gondwa too. But it's better to try and be a better person in and among the bad. I myself don't use face tank on my build but I'll try and see if its not working as well

I watch allot of pot videos and all the people they beat suck at fighting. Can't say iv ever came across this many bad players in my play time.

lol those eos are god awful. All eos are tbf. But when played right eo wins 10/10 times.
Yeah Eos are dangerous for sure! I will say that if a rex uses his deep rumble at the right time the rex can tank the eo damage even with sharpen up and kill the eo but it is very close.
@@ambush501st well I’m pretty sure with sharpen plus charge eo wins. That’s at least from my experience. Keep killing them though lol. We don’t need any more eo players.
If they sharpen and hit you with change while your deep rumble is down they win for sure. If they sharpen and hit you with change and your deep rumble is up it will come down to who hits who first and you can't miss a bite on them. It is a very though fight for sure.
