  • Max Verstappen Unleashes Fury on British GP Promoter!
Verstappen has unleashed his anger on the British Grand Prix promoter! He’s not holding back on his criticism. Fans are buzzing about his fiery comments. What exactly is going on? Watch this video till the end to know what got Max Verstappen so fired up.
Just two weeks left until the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, tickets are still available. This is a change from the usual early sell-outs seen in recent years.
Max Verstappen has responded to the slow ticket sales by saying that the promoters need to "look at themselves" rather than blaming Red Bull for the situation. Verstappen, who won last year's British GP and 19 out of 22 races in 2023, defended his team against these claims.

It's not just the promoters. The FIA set a very high fee (as do the drivers, let's not forget!) and are content to run the entire championship in the Middle east, it would seem.

Jenny, not even if I got the best seats for free would I go. Getting gouged at the track is just the start! For me, and that's my problem, would be the airfare from the US. Then comes getting screwed by the super high price the rooms would be in a place that's not 100 mile from the event. Just as bad, I'm sure, would be the overpriced food and drinks. All this to be at a race you get to see very little of and have to deal with all the lines and people at every turn. No thanks, I'll stay home eat my own food and drink and get to watch ALL of the race.

Max Verstappen gets the blame for everything including being a real racing driver who is willing to fight for a position just like Ayrton Senna did. He was not 100% to blame for last weeks collision some of it was Lando's inexperience for challenging for the lead and the DRS. A lot of people in the sport have said it was a racing incident yet the FIA bowed to pressure to give him penalty points on his licence. If you applied the same rules back in the 80s to the farce we have today most drivers would have lost their licenses by the middle of the season I only really got back into it when I started watching Max as he reminded me of my past heroes. I think some older fans who made the trek to Silverstone are also no longer interested in forking out the cash because so much of the spectacle has been taken out. When drivers do take risks they get punished.

Any sort of splurge for hospitality or club seating was an additional 5-15,000 USD.

The one thing that needs to be accounted for is, the Silverstone race is the only race on the calendar not backed by its government...don't heap all the blame on the track, our government doesn't think that motorsport is worthy of funding, not like having an F1 race is a tourist attraction or anything

It has been years since I have been to any live motor sport event, last time being World Superbike at Assen. Admission prices are far too high, catering poor & expensive & facilities are disgusting with queues everywhere....watch the race at home and see all the action.

This is one example of why the British never wanted to join the Euro currency, because then you would see how expensive the UK is for visitors.

In 2019 i priced up the F1 British gp with friends for hospitality and was able instead to go to mugello for 5 days to watch valentino rossi and moto gp and enjoy amazing weather and a life time experience in beautiful italy for less than rainy boring silverstone would have cost me. Im also going to WSBK portimao in August with paddock and pit access for 4 days at a cheaper cost than silverstone.

    How about a family package?
A family of 2 adults and 2-4 kids under 12 yrs old must show their ID b4 tic purchase and and then again b4 entry. That package c/b 800 Euros for the weekend in a special section. Include 50% off of food & drink up to 200 Euro value.
PLUS, teen agers from 13-17 can get a discount of say 200 Euros for the weekend.
The promotors could go to the teams and each team could subsidize a section and provide free swag, driver meetings and photo ops.
Come on folks it really isn't too difficult to provide BIG value for families who need a price break.
    Cheers from Vancouver, Canada!!
    Luv #F1

I haven’t been for 12 years, because It’s too expensive and once you’re in there you can barely see the track unless you pay extra. It was an extra disappointment seeing the BRDC grandstand was completely empty

Event tickets are outrageously over priced, especially over the last few years. People are struggling to feed the family and pay bills.
A group of us used to do the whole 3 days back pre 2000's, we stopped when the price for race day only cost what the 3 day tickets did
    The world's gone money mad,

As a Dutchman and Red Bull fan, on the surface it indeed looks like a cheap out, blaming the Max Dominance for low sales, especially looking at the prices they ask. But remember, without Max Verstappen, there wouldn't even be a Zandvoort GP and when Max stops, I can assure you that ticketsales for the Dutch GP will plumet. He is not ENTIRELY wrong

If Silverstone can’t sell-out this year with Brits Lewis, Norris, Russell battling out at the front plus a chance to see newly-signed Bearman having a drive and racing being so close this year then maybe there’s not much chance for Silverstone’s future. Drop the prices and get the crowd behind these guys.

British need to stop whining all the time. Common theme among them I guess. Because Lewis is not the main champ anymore and the British don't go to see their champ that does not mean Red Bull is at fault here. Also about the "dominance" of Max have they forgotten that Lewis out laped the 8th in the race at some point something that has never happened in Max's years of winning. Go Red Bull Go MAX..!!!!

the problem is that the FIA should get their facts right. Lando's issue:- you can clearly see Lando was directing his car into Max and forcing him off the track. lots of space on Lando's right to get around the corner. the issue with Lando having spikes on his front wing is another case of McLaren was out to puncture Max's tires.

Max and Lewis are both correct. I live in the Dallas area and would love to go to the Circuit of the Americas GP race in Austin. The price of tickets used to be reasonable, but now they are getting expensive. A 3-day general admission is $389+ and reserved grandstand seats start at $475+. I can afford to go, and will do so either this year or next, but I'm glad I don't need to buy 4-6 tickets for a family.
