it’s incorrect to call it tire management. It comes down to both vehicle setup and driver control. You can push any race car to it’s absolute limit and that’s going to take it’s toll on the tires. So it only proves that the example of Norris keeping up initially, but eventually falling off to Verstappen is a result of the Redbull vehicle/driver being superior to the McClaren vehicle/driver in overall performance. The only thing they’re managing is extracting a higher level of performance than everyone else. My bet is that the Miami race is an outlier; especially in light of the pace car screwup, and despite all the usual lying youboober clickbait nonsense that Redbull will be as strong or stronger as it has been in the past.

If there were no asphalt run off areas drivers would not keep cutting corners. They don’t do it in Monaco do they? Also why are the kerbs so wide? Give F1 drivers an inch and they will take a mile. Make the rule the same as Moto GP, touch the green paint beyond the kerb in any way you get a penalty. F1 has as long as 1 bit of tyre hits the kerb you are ok, that mens virtually the whole car can be off the track but hit a bit of the stupidly wide kerb then it’s ok. Make the rule and drivers will stick to it. The fact is, the white line determines the track width and not the painted kerbs as they are outside the white lines. Race stewards just need to enforce the rule that already exists. F1 should have a permanent set of stewards attending every race then decisions won’t vary so much as they do now. Oh and forget this first corner thing the stewards have, whereby drivers get away with hitting other cars because it gets busy at the first corner. Considering F1 hates Monaco because it’s the only race F1 doesn’t control, you don’t get the corner cutting and bouncing off each other there because, it generally means you are out the race if you do.

They aren’t a force in F1 or WEC and the Valkyrie was designed by Adrian Newey and not Aston Martin. I believe he has a legitimate gripe, this variable interpretation by stewards needs to stop...... I feel there is over policing of rule that should not be there in the first place, this is supposed to be racing after all.

3 races are held in the USA but there is only one US team and F1 hasn't been complaining about HAAS never having won a race. The need another American team and Andretti would be a great choice because of his background in open wheel racing. If they keep refusing him perhaps a boycott could be considered. F1 needs the money and support the American races provide. The're too much of an old boys club.
