- In this video I show you how I set up my Rockler Miter Saw Fence System with Micro-Adjust Flip Stop and review my thoughts on it. I set it up for woodworking with my Bosch Glide Miter saw.

Thank you for taking the time to produce this. It is quite helpful. Question for you, is the stop block metal or plastic?
That was a nice quick video. This extension wing setup appears to be reasonably prices and appears very functional. I have a Rockler table and fence on my bandsaw with T-track, but the top became warped over time which is pretty disappointing. I hope this works well over time for you! Thanks for another well explained video!
Thanks, glad you liked it!
I'm thinking in update my miter saw gauge (not sure if with Woodpeckers or Rockler) but my issue is if I really need on the left side of the miter saw, I basically never use the block stop on that side and only on the right. So I may leave what I have on the left side and update the one on the right. I always put the blade on the left side of the line.
very nice review, thanks very much. Could I ask you a huge favor, to measure the width of the base of the fence, both including and excluding the mounting flange? I have a limited amt of space and want to make sure it will fit with my miter setup b4 I order it. thanks very much !
Yes, absolutely. Let me see what I can do
Loved the video. Question. I want to set up the same fence and stop but I need 6ft on the left and 3 ft on the right with stops on both. How do I order that from Rockler?
You will have to buy two sets. As an alternative, look up the New Yankee workshops version Norm made. It would be a lot more cost effective and will allow you to make whatever size you need. I had that in my old shop and can attest to the quality of its design. The most expensive part is the 3/4 plywood.
Here's the link to it, look at the second episode in the video. Hope it helps!
