It looks like you're wearing what we used to call a burner jacket (fire retardant jacket, pocket on the inside), these had to be worn in the steel mill anytime we we involved in an acetylene/polypropylene torch cutting operation. Am I right?
I used that and it did not work
Hey everyone, please note you can rent a gear puller from auto parts stores for a full refund.
What's the difference between Lo and Hi on this thing? I assume it means low vs high but I don't get what changes when you flip it. maybe the max speed?
Bro you didn't even showed them working! Wtf
saved from scanning through the instructions of where to slide that handle🤣
The little feet near the end is the best part
More interested in what you think is essential gear vs how to use the cocker. Many of us also don't use Dick's Sporting Goods since they went woke fyi...
I have the same lathe and i have a fun lil story about it, when I was working with mahogany the cast iron tool rest snaped in half, I have no idea how but now I use a stainless steel one, also I have that exact chuck on the way even before I saw this video and I decided to watch it, I thank you for reaferming me that I made a good purchase.
What is profer name of this sand used. Thank
FYI, the 1 3/4 hp. Sawstop will run on 220/240. All you need to do call Sawstop parts and purchase the 220/240 connection box. Mine was below $90 .
Thank you for taking the time to produce this. It is quite helpful. Question for you, is the stop block metal or plastic?
Tell me you’re stupid without telling me you’re stupid…wearing sandals while pressure washing. Smh
thank yiou. This video helped a lot.
Thank you
Purchased mine today it didnt come with the Philip's head screw. Did your purchase fome with the screws?
good video
Watched a lot of video's on this Leigh Dovetail Jig. Your's explain's it the best Thanks
This is great.
Great video! Thank you. How far out from the wall is your saw mounted? Just picked one up at a great discount like you and looking to get it set up.
I would like more info on the industrial mobile base and how to adjust it.
Nice video! It won't work for my cabinet, but I like the way you got to the point and didn't waste time just talking.
Thanks for thf review. Wasn't sure if i should get it until now.
I have one and love it. 2 things I wish they would have done is to make the dust tube reversible either because of shop layout or a preference to the side you like to feed and extract material. Also none of the casters swivel making movement of it a bear to move.
Thanks so much for this video. Other similar ones I have seen always seem to leave the bit size out. Thanks for being so complete.
I'm thinking in update my miter saw gauge (not sure if with Woodpeckers or Rockler) but my issue is if I really need on the left side of the miter saw, I basically never use the block stop on that side and only on the right. So I may leave what I have on the left side and update the one on the right. I always put the blade on the left side of the line.
Anyone having the impeller chipping when trying to pull it. Mine just broke on first attempt. I ordered the puller he linked but then went back and watched the video and he is using a different one. Needless to say I am not happy and afraid to continue cause if it breaks again I may not have enough left for a 3rd attempt.
In case anyone reads this after lots of heat, PB blaster, and cutting over an inch of metal around the shaft, it took me removing 3 impeller blades off, drilling 2 holes and using a Harmonic Balancer Puller to get it off. Once that was installed it came right off. The shaft was really rusting and the key never came off. Save some work and once the pulley breaks to much of the flange go straight to removing blades to get this puller on it. I’m still not sure whether I should fuss with removing the key or just leave it and install the new impeller.
here is a better one. Just save your grocery bags and wrap them up that way. Don't need to buy anything.
I agree, but then you just have a pile of bags in your shop. The dog bags are nice because they come in a small roll that you can easily store and takes up far less room.
Here's another one. Did you know if you carefully remove the fold-over cover that came on the brush you can slide the brush back in fold it over and it will reseal? For free.
I imagine it would dry out and the cover will also get ruin... Which the cover helps prevent the bristles of the brush not being destroyed when the brush is not in use.
@@TheOuskie I posted this because it is what I do with my brushes. Presuming you purchase quality brushes as I do, the cover is designed to keep your bristles straight and will keep the paint usable for several days.
That's really nice.
Thanks, I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Quick and to the point. Love it!
Thanks, that’s my goal with every video I produce!
Straight forward and to the point! Excellent review and how to, all in 3 minutes and 2 seconds. Thank you.
Thanks I’m glad you enjoyed it
Hi. Thanks for the video. Do you need to apply Patio Paver Sealer to keep the sand from being washed or blown away?
No, you don’t. When you wet it down, it activates the concrete mixed in the sand and locks it in place.
I make my own" flavorizer" bars with sheet metal.😢
That’s a good way to do it too
new flavorizer bars (whatever those are) and new grates... so you bought everything new to clean it up... got it. 😂
My goal is to clean up my grill very well and replace any worn out equipment so I operated like new again. I think of it similar to do an oil change in your car. A while it needs to be done to keep things 100% operational.
Your grates are on upside down (note the feet on the corners of each grate)
You’re correct, I fixed that shortly after the video. Thanks for pointing it out, and thanks for watching my video!
I've set up a woodworking shop and now have a clean slate, but I'm uncertain about what diameter pipe to opt for in my dust collection system. Currently, I'm equipped with a Harbor Freight 2HP setup, enhanced with upgraded fan blades and a P181038 filter, alongside the addition of the Oneida Cyclone, which I've wall-mounted. I've noticed many TH-cam creators employing 4" pipes, while a few opt for 6". Could you shed some light on why you chose the size you did?"
Generally speaking, you want to go with the largest diameter pipe your dust colllector can handle. For a 2 hp I would go with 6 inch lines right up until the tools. For the larger lines you may want to use a little 8 inch, but I wouldn’t use much with a 2hp unit
@@theselfmademan2875 Will it create significant problems given that I have the Oneida Cyclone dust collector with a 5" inlet transitioning to 6" pipe?

A good, short, to the point video, nicely done. I purchased a similar tool, a DeWalt cordless pin nailer. Although I cannot speak about their brad nailer (I have a Bostitch pneumatic one), I found their cordless pin nailer to be heavy and a bit awkward. Truthfully, in my opinion, not much of a game changer in the shop. I returned it and purchased a pneumatic Porter Cable pin nailer which is much lighter and much less cumbersome. not to mention considerably less expensive. I own several DeWalt cordless tools and am pleased with their performance, but their cordless pin nailer was not what I had hoped for.
Thanks, I try hard to make short and direct videos. Some of my project videos can be a little longer, but I try to keep them as short as I can. I had a Brad nailer for many years, and the pin nailer has really helped me out with some of my finishing and projects. I have a video that’s going to be coming up in six weeks where I made small walnut trays. When doing it, I used the pin nailer and didn’t have to worry about filling in any holes. I know we probably do different things, but for my purposes, it’s actually helped me. Thanks again for the compliment on my video, is there anything you’d like to see a video on coming up?
30bucks? You're gonna go broke
I was still able to make a profit from it because of locally sourced materials. What would you charge for something like this and how would you come up with that number?
@@theselfmademan2875usually compare on Etsy, these would probably sell for like $45
I had my dust collector blowing air out of the garage for quite sometime until I realized it was loud enough so my neighbor next door hears it, especially when I’m working at night. Although they haven’t complained but I decided to reroute my vent and purchased a filter. Maybe if I live in a farm style residence, I would do it again.
I live in an unincorperted area and my shop is 200ft from the closest house so its not that bad, but I understand where you are coming from.
Loved the video. Question. I want to set up the same fence and stop but I need 6ft on the left and 3 ft on the right with stops on both. How do I order that from Rockler?
You will have to buy two sets. As an alternative, look up the New Yankee workshops version Norm made. It would be a lot more cost effective and will allow you to make whatever size you need. I had that in my old shop and can attest to the quality of its design. The most expensive part is the 3/4 plywood.
Here's the link to it, look at the second episode in the video. Hope it helps! th-cam.com/video/WLsYft-m_8E/w-d-xo.htmlsi=2_k8pIi52XMdAdeF
very nice review, thanks very much. Could I ask you a huge favor, to measure the width of the base of the fence, both including and excluding the mounting flange? I have a limited amt of space and want to make sure it will fit with my miter setup b4 I order it. thanks very much !
Yes, absolutely. Let me see what I can do
Yep.

I didn't know that Netfllix made wireless routers. Interesting.
The crack adapters are also for inflating pool toys, air mattressesa and rafts. My Makita one will also deflate things by relocating the nozzle to the suction port on nthe side, though I'm not sure this one will do that.
Wow I didn't know that. I'm going to use it this year for our pool inflatables. Thanks for the tip!
@@theselfmademan2875 I just ordered this DeWalt blower for a gift. My son has DeWalt batteries and tools, and I felt he would get a lot of use out of it. I know I do mine. Thanks for the review.
Thanks for the cleaning tips.
