If the sections were 48", I'd order it now.

The sections are 36" long. You can connect them together with the included hardware, making them longer. They are made of aluminum, so if you need it shorter than the 72" when the 2 are connected, they are easy to trim down with a miter saw or on the table saw.

This is a nice setup. I am about to do my miter station and will have to look at this system. I will have to see if I can find a combination metric and imperial tape measure version. I use metric when cutting cabinet related material and imperial for everything else.

Not being able to buy extra track or another stop unit separately, is the deal breaker. We needed 4 setups and would have need to purchase 8 kits to get the setup we needed. Cool idea tho, needs some refinement obtaining individual extra parts for custom type setups.

We do not offer the self adhesive measuring tape in metric at this time. However, you can purchase it from some home centers or Amazon for a very reasonable price. Remember that you will need 2 different ones, reading left-to-right and right-to-left.
