I have a free website with more tutorials on setting up RadioDJ and programming it. HowToUseRadioDJ.com I have to do it there due to copyright issues.
Total newbie here. Is the delay coming from SECaster or RadioDJ? And are there other ways to configure which might eliminate the delay, instead of just turning it down?

Actually the delay has nothing to do with RadioDJ but more so your computer. The delay is due to how long it takes the signal from your microphone to flow into the computer, go through the process and return back out. You would still get this delay even if you were not using RadioDJ. Its called latency.
@@RodericksRadioDJTutorials thanks for the response. I have not noticed any delay using my scarlet 2i4 interface to record / monitor but haven't got any broadcasting or streaming software yet.
@@DesignCutters The reason you don't hear from your interface is because you are monitoring the mic at the interface and not coming back from software. Trust me it's there. :)
Can we Broadcast on TH-cam with this program?
You can with OBS but TH-cam may block you if you do copyrighted material.
Hey Roderick , I have a problem with SE Caster..After a few days of using it it sometmes shows an error or the stream ends and a new one is created, is it supposed to be like that or if not, do you have a sollution?
In the many years myself and other people have been using SE Caster, I have never seen anyone have this problem. I would ask, are you connected via Wifi? Have you tried that same stream in another encoder, such as B.U.T.T.? What bitrate are you streaming at? What is your ISP upload speed? Is your NIC card on your PC working at it's best, they do burn out sometimes? Who are you using for streaming, it could be the server? There are so many things that could be causing that problem and you would have to start by the process of ellimination.
@@RodericksRadioDJTutorials Hi Roderick, i really don't know but is SE Caster designed for 24/7 broadcasting? sometimes after a few days it gives this message which says "error 40 connection timedout"..Do you have a sollution?

Yes, you need a web player of sorts on your site. A license is needed however. A lot of people use Live365.com I use StreemLion.com and my websites are TheTriadComeUp.com, RealPeopleTalkRadio.com and NiaRadioNetwork.com One is under new construction.
My metadata is coming out with the percent symbol (%) in the middle of the song names. I wonder why?.
Look at the file TestTemplate.txt file and change $artist_enc$ - $title_enc$ to just $artist$ - $title$ or use only $auto$ and save the file.
@@RodericksRadioDJTutorials I did that and the metadata in English spelling solved it, but the grammar recognition problem of my language, the encoder doesn't recognize some accents and punctuation.
For example maçã (apple), it reads maÂâ.
I am also having problems with the encoders. They connect, but the audio output is muted. I'm trying with Butt and SECaster.
Hi, how did you run 4 stations from 1 computer? I would love to do that since I have a powerful computer (Intel Core I7 2.90GHz 16Ram) ?
Each installation needs to have its own unique database name. Example: station1, station2, etc.... And of course each must be installed into different directories and each station has to have it's own soundcard.
Hi Roderick, this is Gillette. I I’m trying to get the SEcaster encoder to display on the screen. Where can I find it I’ve been through the folder but did not want to push the wrong button.

It will go to the bottom right screen in the task bar. Look for the red icon.
But how do you get the mete data that goes from encoder to centovcast cause it’s not reporting now playing to report to centovcast
RadioDJ outputs song data to a text file when the song changes (you have to enable it). Your encoder must be able to read metadata from a text file in order to send it to the streaming server. What encoder are you using?

I can see the shortcut in my taskbar, but it’s not opening on the computer display screen........ How do I get the software to open when clicked from task bar. Just like in your tutorial video.........

I did the right click, it open a page that says Restore back to previous version which I don’t have............ Are there other details I need to know about......... Honestly I feel like I might break something by pushing the wrong button........... I know it’s frustrating for you, but can you give me a more step by step in a video for the not too savvy, because I don’t know yet the right buttons to push..........
