I can see how it might be interpreted this way, but in game I'm pretty sure Aldritch had dreams of the Deap Sea, not the Abyss. I belive there is a different between the two. There are clear differences given between the Dark (Abyss) and the Deep

I personally like to think that frost sorcery originated from Eleum Loyce, considering the fact that we first see it in action is all the over there.
