Very cool. Have you thought of using the pourable grip tape? The only one i could find was Lucid. If you are using the board regularly, that may not work since it would make it extremely hard to replace the tape.
It would be really rad to have a deck like this in like a 10.5 old school fish shape. Those old big boys are soo heavy but carbon fiber foam core would make it feel like a 7.5 popsicle! Cool video!
@@davidmccauley7068 you could likely get $200 to $300 for an old school shape if it was nice and clean looking etc. I noticed on the one in the video the carbon fiber gets a little messy where the seam is. You could paint the one side where the seam ends up to hide it for a nicer finish.
it's interesting, but it would be more interesting if you made it out of solid carbon fiber, without that internal filler. try it next time, i think it will be much cooler
My only complaints: Not doing a boardslide with it, and not putting the grip-tape on before screwing the trucks in. Otherwise cool!

Never even heard of that!

@@joshuafrederiksen I would like to do that too! I wonder if you could sell them for enough to justify the work

love this project!
So rad. Next level. Really.
Sweet board, wish I could do a fakie big spin on it 🤘🏼
Orbs, then I guess I liked Kelley's Bonez wheels on that VX vaporub that much, Dude. Namasté.
Awesome!!!
Thank you!

Yeah but that defeats the purpose of making it light!
