OUR SHORTEST PREMIER HUNTING BOWS EVER
Built for tight spaces and stealthy maneuverability, our Alpha Series bows are engineered for bowhunters who hunt from tree stands, ground blinds or those putting in brutal backcountry miles where every ounce counts.
    HOYT CARBON TECHNOLOGY
The most advanced bow risers ever created. Hoyt carbon risers have more than 50 individual carbon components selected for specific properties that are hand laid into one single, incredibly rigid and lightweight bow riser. These components have been specifically engineered for optimized stiffness and vibration control - in other words, ultimate accuracy and deadly silence on the shot.
    ZTR CAM
2020 Alpha and Ultra series bows come equipped with a refined cam system. Designed specifically for bowhunting, the ZTR cam is the third generation in the ZT cam series and is smoother to draw, has a harder back wall for a rock-solid anchor point and is quieter on the shot. Basically, it’s our smoothest, hardest back wall, quietest cam we’ve ever offered. The ZTR comes in two cam sizes to optimize energy and efficiency and the modular adjustment system makes it easy to dial in your draw length. See the specification page for complete draw length details.
    INTEGRATE MOUNTING SYSTEM
The seamless design of the Integrate Mounting System challenges an old idea of how to mount your arrow rest to your bow. The Integrate System is machined directly into the riser, allowing Integrate compatible rests to be clamped directly to the machined dovetail, forging a connection that physically cannot rotate and is twice as secure as traditional Berger Button mounted rests.
    ADJUSTABLE GRIP SYSTEM
Patent-pending and exclusive to our REDWRX series, our all-new grip system adjusts left and right laterally for ultimate tuning and center shot alignment based on the different hand shapes and pressure points of individual shooters.
    SHOCK PODS
Our Innovative Shock Pod Vibration Damping System kills vibration in the bow riser leaving you with a dead-in-hand shot and sweet, sweet silence.
    STEALTHSHOT™ TECHNOLOGY
Hoyt’s innovative and time-tested StealthShot™ string suppression system got upgraded with an all-new proprietary material to kill noise and vibration more than ever. In addition to crushing noise, the StealthShot also increases accuracy by providing for a cleaner, crisper release of the arrow from the string for a more forgiving shot
    X-ACT™ GRIP SYSTEM
Your first impression shooting a bow ultimately starts with the grip. Extensive, in-depth research and development made sure that experience was as good as it gets when shooting a Hoyt. From the width and angle to the overall shape, the X-Act Grip practically holds your hand through the shot, making sure you have proper hand placement time and time again. Because in archery, consistency is accuracy. (Available exclusively on Axius, Helix Turbo, Double XL and Nitrux model bows.)

I have a carbon defiant but don't know if I want to sell it. Can you put a ztr cam on it or just it not worth it?

Does the number 3 cam feel smoother on the draw than the number 2 cam? Shot a rx4 alpha with each cam and noticed a difference between the two but didn’t have any more bows to check for the difference on

+James Shores we did not shoot a base cam 2 for comparison but it should not draw any different.

I know at a 28 DL the cycle is a little smoother. Definitely noticable but at a small speed cost which is no big deal

Best bow on the planet. Period.

I just can’t get over how weak the back wall is

Go to Haxen Hunt you tube page, he disagrees about the hand shock after shooting both Axius and RX-4 for 2 hours in the range. The Axius has the better “dead in hand feel” albeit 0.4 lb weight difference. Your results should be if you currently have a RX-3 or RX-1 save your money or buy a Mathews if concerned about a “dead in hand feel” as they have a step up on Hoyt in that department.

+Mark Fjeld opinions are like A-wholes! Every body has one and some are bigger than others. Let’s keep the shameless promotion of your buddies channel on other channels to a minimum just cause he doesn’t agree.

Everyone has their preferances. Also idk why ppl dont talk about it much but once you shoot something you become a custom to it or can. I was watching a video earlier about this guy raging on other bows about minor points then gets to a VXR and says theres something he dislikes about it but continues to go on about how it's just something you'll eventually get used to and it's the best bow in the world.. I'm thinking isnt that basically everything with these flagship bows now days. Even the "major" issues are mostly minor when put into perspective and in most cases you can train yourself around the minor flaws to the point of perfection. Theres awesome things about all these hoyts and mathews and there are minor drawbacks. That's where the whole "go shoot it yourself to get your own opinion" comes into play. Just look at what these pro archers are doing with all these different bows. I say go try them all and see what feels best for you and what you find appealing and then get out there and make that bow shoot for you.

I shoot the Hoyt Rx4, this bow it’s best, and Axius ultra is my back up bow.
I will never shoot Mathews, no need.

They have copied a lot of thing from Mathews over the years and still doing it just pointing it out is all

Believe it or not, that's actually QAD's design -- not Mathews'.
