- Full review of Hoyts bow hunting series from 2020, we went with the redworks carbon RX4 Turbo. We decided to go with the turbo series for the speed test. This bow is a absolute hammer, excited to see what it can do in the field.

I picked up a new Hoyt RX-4 turbo. Only in 60lb at 28” but man that thing can shoot! Really like it😎
Picked up an RX4 Turbo last year for $1200 via new/old stock. LOVE this bow and it will serve me well for a few years at least. I'm on a #2 cam with limbs maxed to 74lbs so it's full throttle and this puppy is *fast*. I buy a new bow about every 4-5 years so will probably be on a 7 twin turbo circa 2025 or so :). My last bow was a PSE full throttle which had NO valley so it was nice to come back to Hoyt after 10 years. Had a carbon matrix before the PSE so it's good to be back on a Hoyt speed bow. I'm running 12'' front/10'' rear quattro vulcan pro stabs on the RX4 which really settles it down and kills any vibe.
I just picked up one brand new for $799. Can’t wait to get it set up!
@@chickimac1 I was so close to buying some guys rx7 ultra 80# a few weeks ago. Went to the local bow shop and shot the rx7 ultra @80#. I just couldn’t spend the money. Still love my RX4 turbo!!!’
Super in depth like the review I wanted the rx7 ultra this year I work in a shop and am a dealer but the 1750$ hurts a little bit I got a new bow the last two years and last years bow was 1450 and it was a dud they couldn’t get the material for it so I had to get a 30” ata instead of a 33” ata and I was just lucky to get that I always wind up with a new bow like a week before hunting season. I love Hoyt the risers the new cams are nice but I figured I can save money and get a better bow by doing nothing so I’m waiting you should have more views and likes 👍🏻

I know when I baught my alphaburner in 2010 it wore me tf out ! That was after using a 70lb bow for 15 yrs prior to the alpha burner lol! Them cams ain’t no joke! A noob to archery would make a huge mistake buying a bow with aggressive cams and a virgin bow shoulder

Is this bow still there in the market?
I still see the rx3, rx4, and rx5 on eBay getting resold, they hold there value pretty good, most Hoyt’s do
Try the xpedition smoke for some speed haven’t seen a lot on it
