T-bone sure taught me something I didn’t know about anchor points. Minimal face pressure so it don’t leave the string fish tailing.

15:53 I like that he mentions the "center shot" may actually be slightly left. That's the reality for a lot of bows and a lot of shooters and too many guys freak out about not being able to get a good tune with "perfect" center shot rests.

Wild how much tuning you do. I just slap the sight, quiver, and rest on; dial it in my yardage, then hunt.
Never used kisser/nose buttons, alway ran straight string; seems like something a new hunter would use I suppose.

I like to use (sno-seal) boot wax on my broadheads and field points so the dont work loose. Also on my quiver and sights. Ive never had one come loose.

Really good tips thx...really liked your setup with range finder.i nvr used g5 broadleaf but I know ppl that do and like you they swear by them..i been using the grim reaper razor tip for years. Had lots of success with them..guess I like them cause u can do a quarting shot..if u experiment with them in future I think u may like them...but lot of us we stay true with wat works, keeping it simple..thanks for all the good hunting shows u do and good luck this year

It's really crazy how much the cost of a bow is now days. I use to buy a brand new bow every year deck it out but i don't anymore. I believe a brand new bow is probably one of the worst investments you can make. That bow cost about $2500+ after its set up and in 2 years it wont be worth $900. Don't get me wrong it's definitely a sweet bow.
That's why you don't upgrade every year. I recently got a RX4 but I upgraded from a bow I ran 8 years on. This RX4 should last me just as long or longer, definitely worth the investment if you don't upgrade constantly.
I bought used Rx 3 with sight and rest for $1100 with new gas string and labor $1350 just gotta check the used market every week he’ll everyday if you have access to archery talk forum

Bone ...what a coincidence .i was at the gym and had my bow stolen right out the front seat of my truck.. (bastards) and now in the market for new bow .you made my choice up for me bone.thanks love the vids.
I would recommend not leaving your bow in hot environments like your vehicle or a non-air-conditioned shed . High heat as seen in trunks and in enclosed vehicles can actually cause issues to your limbs or even your string over time. Goodluck

T Bone what kind of anchor points do you recommend for people that wear glasses. I always have trouble trying to get a consistent anchor and being able to see my sights with my glasses.
I have an older Hoyt with one of those peep sites with the rubber tube attached. I like it! I don't want that site twisting on me at the wrong time. But how do you feel about them? Also, some bows have big cams, and some have small cams. Does the size of the cam make a difference?
