- After initially shaking off loose excess energy and tensions, this practice gives you an opportunity to "try on" different versions of yourself: the one that possesses qualities like fierceness, strength, and sturdiness, and another that is okay with not knowing the answer, going with the flow, not having anything to do. The practice concludes with breathwork to elongate the exhale. This practice is less about what poses you do and more about who you are while practicing.
Thank you for the depth and clarity you bring and share on the yogic principles.
Thanks!
I love breathwork that lengthens the exhale - it always feels so relaxing and calming in my body and mind. I love how you sequence the class and cued with such wonderful intention. Have a nice day, friend!🌸
Great thanks
Enjoyed this very much and the imagery of strength, change and quiet. Just a comment about the counted breaths because I am not a fan. Instead of focusing on the breath, I find myself focusing on the counting and getting caught up in the numbers. I know this is my issue as a student, but as a yoga instructor as well it has been brought to my attention that others also find the counting a distraction. I instead cue to lengthen the exhale. Thank you for your practice.
