I lived in the Riverina area of NSW for many years, right on the Murray River. I must say it does look very much like that country bordering NSW and Vic. The only thing that would have ABSOLUTELY nailed it would've been the addition of an aussie birdsong track. And yeah I had no idea what a Biogas plant was until I played FS22. We just burn diesel lol.
One reason the BGA may be missing is that they arent really a feature of the Aussie landscape. I had no idea what one was or did until I had played FS for a while.
I've been waiting for this for so long. I've had it on pc with an error or two, and am so glad it's finally out. Reminds me very much of the countryside not far from where I actually live, so I'm wrapped.
I'm happy for you because you don't get many Australian maps probably about 3 between fs17 and this map. All European maps mostly with the odd south American and USA map. I will check this one my self will be a nice change.
@@beyondnow1600 Yep, I live a little bit south of where this map is based, but a lot of coastal, or just inland a bit, of NSW looks similar. He's really captured the crumbly road edges, and creeks with willows and such, really well. I can't put my finger on exactly what it is that makes it feel so familiar to me, but it's there everywhere I look on this map.

Nice and open and HUGE fields. This will definitely be tons of fun for those that like huge fields. Of course, having no traffic makes it seems bigger I think. I prefer smaller maps but I can see where people will love playing this beautiful map; especially in multiplayer mode. Thanks for a wonderful map tour Mr. Sealyp. Usually I'm not one for big, wide open or mostly flat maps but this one really does feel different than most. Hard to quantify what exactly it is, maybe it's all the little patches of small details that break up the landscape and make it feel justified at a bit lived in rather than just a flat map with a few buildings and decorations plonked down. Whatever it is this looks like a really cool map and may well be one I step out of my comfort zone and try! Cheers for the tour MrSealyP!

Hi Mr P Love your tours. I am from Australia and am over the moon with this map. It looks like many places I have been to here, It feels like home. Now I have Calmsden, Elk mountain and my Aussie equivalent. Hocks is creating another Aussie map now so all is good and the waiting starts again😊Cheers
Thanks for that tour, I've not played Southern Cross Station yet, but I'm seriously considering it for a multiplayer map with some friends. I'm a southern coast Australian, so the farming land I'm used to seeing is mostly dairy and sheep area. But your tour very much reminded me of driving though some of our grain country, where it is long open plains of nothing but golden fields of wheat or the yellow flowers of canola. Map maker has done an incredible job, and one has to assume that they are Australian or have spent a lot of time here in Australia to get the nuance and feel so accurate.
This map looks really good, I like the wide open spaces and it just has that Australian feel to it. I may just wait to play on it because I think it may require an update. Thanks for the map tour Mr. Sealyp.
We had an australian map on fs19 can't remember it's name though , however the water on it looked like glue and it was as hard as set glue as well, glad the water on this looks normal and wet lol great map review i might plow a field or two on it.
Another great looking map! I love this one, the flickering thing will be updated I guess?! Im always a bit scared for those updates because it needs a new save file most of the times. And I hate it when I build a nice farm and get it destroyed by an update so, I wait a bit for this one and Gelderland. Both really nice and fun looking maps! Can't wait to play on them. Ill drive around for a bit and make my future plans,.... hahaha cheers all!
Hi all. With the Southern Cross Station map, Single player is no drama, but on my game server hosted with Nitrado. When trying to host the multiplayer session myself, both set up fine but as soon as anyone tries to join, it gets to 99% loaded and then shuts down the server (or closes my game if hosting the session). It's cross-play, so I am on Xbox, and my mate on PlayStation has the same issue. Not sure about PC multiplayer, though. Does anyone else have the same problem?
Anyone else having the issue of when you save the game then go back on the fields and roads are covered in grass and bushes, I've un installed every mod I've got and tried with just the map and I'm still getting this issue
We had 1 Oz map on PS for fs 19. On a separate point i have got and issue - the covers on my seeders and planters tanks will no longer open or augers unfold on the big trailed ranks tanks. ??? Am at a loss. Can only load from pallets.
The map still has a lot of glitches. I tried it but the map has spots that flicker and in parts of the city if you’re standing in certain areas parts of the world disappear with a flashing animation. Hopefully it’ll get patched.
Map looks okay but what's with the fences around all the fields. No thnx. Absolute pain in the ass dealing with room. If you can delete them, great, if not, map's not for me.
@@chrisasst that is true my friend the quest there is hardly any traffic on the roads in the outback of Australia if there is only a road train truck or two!!

As an australian, the first time i ever heard of biogas was in fs19.. makes sense.
I also had to learn what one was by playing fs. Closet we have is an ethanol factory but they never came to anything.

The main change to Australian seasons is the months are now correct. Eg. Summer is December to February and Winter is June to August :)
