there's a mod named Hide Objects iirc. The description makes it seem to just turn the objects invisible for aesthetic reasons, but actually despawns the item.

since i use ai to harvest fields modded maps are a nightmare as there fields are all sorts of shapes the original maps have nice square ish fields
