This is literally the first American map on console made where it actually looks like you’re in America! Ive been waiting for an actual American map since I started playing on FS15. Ridiculous lol
What a beautiful map! That white house you said you loved reminded me of the house from 'The Waltons', an old TV show. This one is definitely on my list.
I’m happy for the people in the Midwest that have a proper map. Bucks does the northeast well and there are a lot of Pacific Northwest maps, but no real central US ones
I grew up just South of Alma in Concordia. This map definitely nails the feel of small town Missouri and is pretty true to the real town. Pretty cool for someone to add this map
SealyP, thank you for doing this map tour. I grew up 15 minutes from Alma in a small town called Corder, now I live in Concordia which is still about 15 minutes from Alma. Concordia is a town with some deep German heritage, we even have a sister city in Germany. Now, with that being said, this is basically my home town map, I'm currently farming on this map and when my cousin gets internet, we will be multiplaying on this map, he lives about 10 minutes from me in another small town called Sweet Springs. Celobuki did a banger of a job on this map and it's like I'm farming at home
@sethp1200 I keep telling myself I'm gonna get my older pickup out and go drive down the gravel and find that main home farm. Lol I haven't yet but I've done some dozer work in that area a few years ago
Playing the map, love it. For me, a neat addition would be a fighter jet, Apache helicopter or B1 bomber flying over every once in awhile as it’s 30 miles from Whitman AFB. Live in general area and see those all the time.
This really is a nice map. The town looks so realistic, the farmyard is nice and big with a sizable area for placeables, PUMPKINS, new crop types, and all sorts of new productions with buyable land for customizing the town. My only complaint is I spent 2 hours doing up the Alfalfa field only to find out the sheep I bought don't eat it😂Hardly a complaint, but really, this is a great map.
That is so great! During your live stream yesterday you were talking about a new map to start. I posted twice that you would love Alma :) I thought it would be your cuppa Tea :) I started on it last night as I do love it as well.
This would be a great map for your next let's play. BTW, silage clamps are not used a lot in Midwest or South US. They use a type for fermenting silo instead.
The Midwest has loads of silage bunks. Lots of dairy farms and I bet 70+% have bunks. Maybe not the same style as the game offers. Go on a road trip and visit some farms. I did that a lot when I was much younger, it was one of the best experiences I've had the pleasure of having. Most farmers (unless it's "go time") we're more than thrilled to take myself and my buddies on a tour of their farms. We'd hop in a vehicle on Friday evening and just drive with no aim until we reached a small town in the middle of nowhere and start talking with locals about their lives. Was great times.
This map is the Lone Oak for FS22. Awesome map. Would love to see a let’s play by MrSealyP on this map. I don’t watch Frontier because I don’t like that map, especially not in a farm sim.
Awesome map! Really feels like rural midwest America imo. I like all the options the map maker gives you. I wish all maps were set up in the same way. Custom crops are the cherry on top. Congrats to the map creator! As always, thanks for the detailed review MrSealyp.
Tried this map out earlier. Solid effort on what it brings overall. Once thing I did noticed on my first harvest is that the auger wagons don't accept peas but hopefully that will get fixed in an update if there is one.
As an American,I think is by far the best American map we’ve ever had. The attention to detail is insane. Only thing I wish is that the fire station was useable with the fire trucks in game now
Very well done Map, so true to life in realism. The intersection where You started, Farmer Klein had a major traffic Jam. I think all Map vehicles were stopped there. HAHAHAHAA.... You did not look in the Window of the Pizzeria. HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA... 2 Very impatient Customers... Thanks Paul....
There is a spot for silage in the cow barn on the main starter farm. You drive through the barn and unload your alfalfa or whatever you want to turn to silage.
This map absolutely nails that American small town feel. It’s without a doubt, the most realistic American map so far. They absolutely nailed the design of the town!
CornBread is delicious w/Fried Chicken Try the cornbread warm w/honey or butter or both You should definitely try it Mr P if you hadn’t already and Your map tours are the only I watch Your attention to detail is like no others Nice work as usual
this is an amazing map however I'm from KU county so kinda wish it would have been a Kansas map😂🤣. great review, great map, definitely the next one I am downloading. looking forward to seeing a SealyP let's play on this map.
It is a cery realistic map for missouri. That is what a lot of our small towns look like and unfortunately what our paved roads look like. Our road maintenance is poor considering what it was 20 yrs ago. And in a lot of places our gravel roads are being paved. Coming here ypu can definitely get the small town feeling and your fair share of pot holes 😂. A lot of our farms have rubbish piles from many many years ago and some are newer.
I have lived in the midwest my whole life and I haven't seen a lot of silage bunks. I have however seen a lot of stave silos and harvestores to store corn silage. Haylage is usually done in bales
Well.... until American Falls gets updated, I'm packing up my gear and headed to Missouri. This looks very well done. American farming ..... theres just nothing that compares.
Great review 👏 and come over to the dark side... you can grow maze all day long..you know you want to...come to the maze..😅 Hope you are well and family are all OK too. Great channel..👍🍺🇬🇧
Just for your knowledge... there are 2 types of cornbread. Standard and sweet cornbread. So if you ever want to give it a try make sure you try both before you completely right it off
I lived in MO for a while not far from Alma and can tell you that this is scary accurate down to the BGA plant! 10/10. Can't wait for it to download and drive down S. County just to see how accurate it really is!
Great map tour mr P I agree with you it’s a nice map and my brain was ticking over on which way to play it the map maker has done a great job with it and keep up with the great work 👏👏👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is the most realistic American map ever made (at least for consoles). It feels exactly like the majority of farmland in the Midwest/mid south US.. well done!!
Hi MrSealyP, as you say, American Falls is a fantastic map, but, it seriously needs an update, from harvesting contracts not giving enough crop to complete, and, when borrowing equipment for contracts, not all equipment spawning in, then there are the comical issues, such as the helium filled deer, and the decorative objects floating I love the map, but, in its present form, it is unfortunately unplayable
If youre trying to have ai deliver equipment - have them go to the main intersection to the road the farm is on, and then have them go to the farm. They seem to eventually get it figured out to do it in one shot. First couple of tries they just wouldnt leave the dealership.
Thanks for the good map tour MrSealyp, it looks like a very nice map, my only gripe so far is that it doesn't seem to have multi-terrain angles, which is a major minus for me. I normally shy away from American maps, not being a fan of the 'wide open spaces', but this has some nice character to it, so I will give it a go, maybe multi-terrain angles will be added at some point.
I live basically in Kansas City Missouri, (Go Cheifs!) so Alma would be about an hour straight east from here. I haven't played thus map yet but it looks so good! Like tou pointed out the road textures and everything really does look like a small town in Missouri. Btw, corn bread is good stuff. In my family we always ate corn bread with Ham and beans. Sometimes with a fish fry. Best if it's straight out of the oven and not over cooked with some butter on top. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. You mentioned how the hills and different elevations in the land which is Missouri but if you go west into the neighboring state of Kansas and it's just flat... one of the longest states to drive through because it's just so flat.
If you really want to experience cornbread you want to come to "Southern" US! It's not the same anywhere else! I live in Arkansas. I have actually purchased cornmeal at an operating "water wheel" grain meal. That made the best cornbread I've ever eaten! 😎
Having a dabble on this map at the moment. The OCD kicking is is forcing me to get as many square edges or at least one square edge on my fields to get those AIs on track, Cant take your eye of em for a second They have so far ploughed up my corn and seeded my Alfalfa!!!!!!
G'Day MrSealyp, Have you ever had a look at the map by Levis WEST END 64X MAP. I saw a brief look at it and is a very different, very detailed map. Yes it is a huge map lol
I'm definitely gonna give this map a long winded play thru, but I think I'll wait a bit to see if it gets any sort of update. Awesome map tour. Thank you
I installed it and like it so far but I ran into a ?bug? at one spot where there should be water a small pond on the farm man start farm. there is no water. the other spot east of it does have water. I'm installing playable water to fix it.
Had to sell off the bins could not open the lids to dump grain will need a update and you would love Missouri we have lakes, parties, and rolling hills .We call them rust rolls old timers taught us don't get rid off anything you my need sometime I got 59 years of living here
I have to say I think this would make a brilliant let's play map for your next adventure, firstly because it's a lovely map and secondly because I've just downloaded it myself 👍
"I should be stopping at the stop signs, i know" nah, youre driving a Gator. people never follow traffic laws when driving those. also for literally FOREVER ive said these "american" maps dont show real fields from around here, but rather take that to mean "big fields" and essentially the opposite of whatever uk maps are. this is the first one that reminds me of home and the farms around there. I'm not seeing it, next to the Tailor shop is the Pizzeria. On the sell page, only place to sell wool is at the Livestock Bale Sell Point, and Cotton can go to Livestock Bales Sell Point or Sedalia.@@russellmaidlow1177

Know I’m late replying but lone oak on 17 and 19 was the best. Stone valley on 22 was decent as well
Lone Oak was my go to map especially on 19. Pretty similar yeah 👍
I live 140 miles south of Alma. This is the best rendition of the United States of any map to date. This truly is what Central America looks like.😊
@royperkins, we must live close to one another. Really liking this map!
I'm 156 miles south of Alma. Awesome to see some other locals with similar interests!
I’ve been to Panama….this looks nothing like Central America 😜
I live in North East Arkansas. I agree with you 100%! 👍

On pc there is but giants won't allow tobacco or alcohol on console
Me too!! I’ve been wanting a Kentucky map for awhile now! Where abouts in ky you at?

I was wondering that about alfalfa myself lol. Thanks for the heads up!
I live here it’s dead accurate too
If you Google map Alma it's spot on. A fantastic map tour as usual 😊
This map looks like you're really there. Grew up close to this and he nailed it. Only thing he could have added was some Amish farms
That is so great! During your live stream yesterday you were talking about a new map to start. I posted twice that you would love Alma :) I thought it would be your cuppa Tea :)
I started on it last night as I do love it as well.

Your smaller farms still use clamps around Alma I lm a hr from there and work on a small farm

The tour was great but what I truly enjoyed was when you flipped the gator. I'm a child. 🤣
I thought Farmer Klein was the only one to wreck equipment on Map Tours HAHAHAHAHA.
The Gator and the mahindra are unstable in game..
Very well done Map, so true to life in realism.
