Dave, Thanks for sharing your ride from the subway to the Sony event today - Great meeting you and chatting. I also switched from Canon to Sony and share your enthusiasm for Sony.
1979 I got Nikon,1983 I got Hasselblad 6x6, 1999 I got Canon and 2019 I got Sony which are great Cameras and there are a lot of excellent Lenses ! I can recommend Sony A7RIII, Sony A7RIV, Sony A7RIVA, Sony 14mm 1.8 GM, Sony 24mm 1.4 GM, Voigtländer APO-Lanthar 35mm 2.0 Aspherical, Sony Zeiss Sonnar 55mm 1.8, Voigtländer Macro APO-Lanthar 65mm 2.0 Aspherical, Sony 135mm 1.8 GM and Sony 200-600mm 5.6-6.3 G
Nearly one year on, I'm hoping we might get a 'long term review' video from Dave on how those months with Sony have worked out. There's nothing like a camera gear opinion from someone with 50 years shooting experience in the bag, makes some TH-camrs look a bit... errr, you choose the word.
I am a big fan of Mr Burnett, one of those shooters that piqued my interest in Photojournalism, so this video is of great interest. I too was a Canon shooter gong back to my High School years in the 70s and 80s. Like David, I made the switch to mirrorless earlier this year, though, I went the Fuji route. Unlike David, my career in Photojournalism was relatively short-lived, a little more that 20 years. Now focusing on travel and stock and some PJ work from time to time. Glad to see a well known and respected Photojournalist commenting on the switch from DSLRs to mirrorless, this is an area where mirrorless cameras are still looked down upon by many.

Your photography is amazing David! I keep your website bookmarked on my phone for when I need some inspiration to get out and shoot.

I'd say that his move to SONY has something to do with lucrative cash sponsorship..........hmmmm.....
