Love Train! 1982 I'm 24yrs old and 5 years on active duty in the army already. Stationed at Aberdeen Proving Ground Maryland. (June 1980 - May 1983). I bought their 'Touch Album' in Aschaffenburg Germany (October 1977 - June 1980. Off that album. Their song (I Just Can't Say Goodbye) was my song. I bought their "Candy Album" during my second tour too Germany (May 1983 - April 1987). Off the Candy Album (Let Me Put Love On Your Mind). Absolutely my No1 favorite group. Con Funk Shun kept those hits coming in the late 70s and 80s. Classics like: Tears In My Eyes (is a slow dance special) Straight From The Heart Promise You Love Con Funk Shun ballads are priceless

I can't think of one Black artist that did; Bruno pays respect to James Brown in all of his shows. I saw Con Funkshun in an interview that Silk Sonic for waking up people to their music; in fact, the band said they were getting calls from venues they had never heard of and that business was picking up.
