It is wonderful to see Confunkshun still pulling in the fans. Their music is tight. It is with great pleasure to see artists sing, play real instruments and dance, especially seasoned artists. These guys are among the truly greats.
Can we get church drummers to watch this so they can learn how not to play every lick they know in one song and kill the groove lol... nice to see someone just hold the groove without overplaying.

I had the pleasure of seeing Zapp, it was one of those unannounced shows in a small venue. They played none of their tunes but instead acted as a cover band playing all the greats from that era. I consider that show as one of the best funk shows I've been to. Mutilual respect and appreciation for your fellow artist. It's a beautiful thing. They even busted out some George Benson!
