I’ve tried a variety of different combos and the only thing that I keep coming back to is Dr. Pepper with Patron Citronge Orange Liqueur. I have a huge bottle of Crown Royal, but no clue what to do with it. I want the buzz, but prefer the taste of something sweet. Any recommendations?
Can't drink on weekdays cause we got two random drug tests a year at work, so when I do, I get a large ice cube, fill a 12 oz crystal glass half way and take my time with a black label.
I tried Whiskey for the first time I am a vodka drinker but decided to try something different for Christmas and I thought I would have ginger beer with it as a mixer a good spicey one to mask the task I loved it going to try it with cream soda and lime and maybe a a little something else not quite sure what to add to it but love the creamy softness of cream soda so may try Grenadine or just some really good fruit conserve like strawberries and cream mmm with a blended scotch whiskey as I am from the UK but thanks so much for the ideas

My favorite whisky cocktail is a Godfather - 1.5 oz (6 cl) Scotch and .75 oz (3 cl) Amaretto over some ice in a tumbler. How come it didn't make your list? I recommend Black Label and Disaronno btw. You can also add a twist of orange, but not necessary.

I was always under the impression you had to drink it at room temperature neat out of a glencairn. Or at the very least on the rocks. And I'm relatively new to good quality whisky (mostly Scotch and bourbon, not a huge fan of Irish or Canadian). Frankly I'm not comfortable drinking raw egg whites either. I used to do it for a protein boost all the time because I do weights until I learned that it's a great way to get sick. It never happened to me but still, better to err on the side of caution imo.

Having said that, my mixology goals are what lead me to this video, and I'd be lying if I said I got nothing out of it lol. These two seem to know their shit drink-wise, so they've got my upvote on this one and a fuck it a sub.

Harry Heart I make a cherry orange simple syrup to throw in my godfathers. Great drink!
Godfather is my favorite friday after work drink! I use 2oz black bottle blended scotch, 1oz disaronno and 3 ice cube

It’s a simple classic. Can’t really go wrong with anything and coke. It covers the alcohol really well if that’s what you’re trying to do.
