Tyranids weren't put in because of pathing issues. Imperial Guard and Orks already have enough trouble getting around with the giant squads they put out, imagine trying to get a few hundred 'gaunts moving around on these maps.
If your here looking for the good guys, I will think that the imperial guards should be your option because the only human ones are blood ravens and Imperial guards and the blood ravens have a really dark secret which makes the Imperial guards fighting for humanity and the emperor!

tbh SS is alright, it just could have been so much better if the company hadn't gone bankrupt and was allowed to finish it, instead of having to get somebody else in to stick everything together and throw it out as quickly as possible. Also the voice acting could have been better, Boreale and his "Sthhheel Raiiiinneee!", Necron Lord with his asthma, and Lord Carron being a mental case Khorne fanatic despite being of the Alpha Legion, and going on about metal boxes. Sigh......ok I give, it was a shit show I can't deny it....but ye...I still play it from time to time.

Terrans have biological means, Zerg have no means at all unless you count the Overmind and its Cerebrates, and the Protoss have gestalts from two different sources. This would be logical to differentiate them from the Warp, plus, it gives no means of FTL travel just some serious psychic power. If my buddy, Will, ever gives me his review on what he thinks of the introduction, I may very well finish it. So far, it involves Zeratul, Selendis, Karandras, Taldeer
Gotta love Necrons, charge the enemy with a few units, teleport a bunch of flayed ones to reinforce and there, u just made a sci-fi zombie apocalypse, the only catch is the tau with their many invisible units, for that 1 or 2 wraiths and good to go.

Horus Heresy is impossible to top and I'll be as modest as I can be, but I don't think even Starship Troopers can top it. Because of the epicness of SC and W40K, I'm writing a crossover involving the Protoss, Eldar, and Tau against some of the other factions of their respective universes.

Well the only way to move the plot forward in 40k is have Space marines or IG win because eldar flee from the scene and nothing is heard from them again, Chaos just sits on the planet to corupt it and nothing ever gets accomplished by the orks and tau/eldar just are too mysterious to be ruined by a bad game(and relic/thq aint got enough balls to try) As for necrons and nids, what you gonna do?
anyone who says sc copied warhammer 40k is rong, warhammer 40k is the original and all others are failed copies. and if you look it up at all, warhamer 40k lore is 10000000x more badass and more powerful than any other lore out there, there is no comparison between anything. maybe 1 space marine vs 100 sc marines and tyarnids simple scouting fleets could wipe out all of sc universe.

Great game, soulstorm kinda ruined it with it's overwhelmingly huge amount of battlefields. According to Dawn of War 2, the space marines led by Davian Thule won the war for Kronus.
the canonical endings get really really boring, every time the blood ravens or the imperial guard wins, have the people making such games lost imagination ? its pretty boring. if i was chaos i would have quit trying , if i was ork i would stay away from humies and kept fighting other orks at least i can beat them, the eldar(not dark ones) are emo enyway so who cares, necrons would just go back to sleep since they always loose anyway, the tau would have joined the imperial "for the greater good"
