Made specifically for Wrangler and Gladiator, this kit includes all the hardware needed to upgrade your soundbar to fit better quality aftermarket speakers. This complete package includes adapter plates for mounting a pair of 6X9” speakers or a set of 6.5” coaxial or component speakers. The included speaker harnesses plug into the jeep connectors and provide a universal connection for new speakers. The speaker grills feature a factory-style pattern and texture and conceal the speakers for an OEM appearance.

This is a must have for any jeep owner. This little 4 inch mid and mini sub just don't work with the top off. This will definitely improve tou sound topless at highway speed.

With connecting only the larger adapter are you feeding the speaker purely bass frequencies? Is there a way to deliver full frequency sound to the 6x9 ?

In applications where the audio signal is crossed over prior to getting to the speaker itself, you will only get those same signals on the newly attached speakers. There is no way to sum the high level signals going to a single speaker from multiple individual speakers. That would need to be done with a summing device, prior to being amplified, then sent to the new speaker.
