okay but can we talk about how beautiful your curls are 😵
Omg thank you!❤❤❤
Omg I know I remember the first time I saw the curls and I was like omg how beautiful 😍😍 I've got pin straight hair 🤣
For real!! I'd love a curls tutorial lol
First thing I noticed, they are gorgeous!
Lexi, you are crushing these vlogs! 🎉 I love the atmosphere like spending a day with a friend
Omg thank you Courtney!! That’s so sweet!! 😊❤
I love that you don’t only read what everyone else reads but a lot of them I’ve never heard of. So many screenshots 😂
I’ve been looking for cozy, lighthearted content lately and I’ve found myself coming back to your videos. Watching them is always relaxing.
I'm so bummed you didn't love The Honey Witch because I really thought you would! I absolutely devoured it and already want to give it a second read through to annotate, but I can absolutely see where your critiques are coming from. It does come off as a debut, for sure, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what Sydney puts out next. 🌠
I am so happy you are making more videos for TH-cam! They are always so fun!
I like to spread out genres too but I often make an exception to this if I’m just really in the mood to read the same genre again. This happens to me a lot with thrillers because those tend to hold my interest the most.
I look forward to your videos every single week. I love all the books that you recommend you’re just amazing..
Just finished reading I'm a Fan which had been on my TBR for months. Yes, totally messy, totally unhinged, and I was here for it. 🌟
💫 one book that I almost read in a day was Yerba Buena by Nina LaCour. I love her writing. In high school I read Hold Still by her in one day. It’s hard to do that now that I’m a working mom but yeah. Her books really pull me in!
I’ve only read All’s Well by Mona Awad and I’m obsessed! That book was brilliant. Can’t wait to check out her other books.
Lexi, I read bookshops and bonedust last month. I LOVED IT!! I also got it at my local library in pristine condition for 25 cents 🤪 they had legends and lattes too but I already had a copy at home
Lexi you are such a bright and beautiful spark of fun and happiness! Thank you for all the hard work you put into bringing us these videos!!!💞Love your nature shots at the park!
Enjoying what you're reading is fundamental!
Of all Rouge reviews I saw, yours was the one to make it clearer for me and made me want to read it. I love weird books. 🎉
I haven't been seeing a lot of great things about the Honey Witch, a lot of people seem to be disappointed after reading it which makes me sad. I am excited to pick up that Dark Lord book by Django Wexler though! It sounds really fun! Also your hair on Day 3!! The ringlets are gorgeous 😍
Aw thank you!! And yeah the writing just wasn’t for me- but! I mean that’s super subjective so I can also see how some people would like it! 😊
Great video! I adore Travis Baldree, I have multiple copies of both books, I love them. I picked up A Fellowship of Bakers and Magic, and I could not put it down, I ate it up and loved every single second. Similar vibes, cozy and low stakes, but so so good! I’m reading Just For The Summer right now, and I’m loving this too 📚
I haven’t heard of A Fellowship of Bakers and Magic but I’m looking into this right away I love the title!!! Thank you! 😊
Gotta say, your curls are gorgeous ❤ 1:24
Been loving your Sunday uploads lately! Your videos make me so happy 🩷
I read „The Unmaking of June Farrow“ in one sitting instead of working because I couldn’t concentrate on anything else but the book. I also remember doing all nighters when the HP books were released, I just had to know what would happen next. My mum didn’t like that very much 🤣
Is this a shooting star? 💫
⭐
I don't remember being able to read a book in one sitting, except perhaps pour Le Petit Prince d'Antoine de St-Exupéry... But it's so short! Otherwise, I've just been devouring two books of Donato Carrisi this week, a feat I haven't been able to do in ages!!! ❤ I read the first book in his Mila Vasquez series and read book 2 (my friend loaned me the books) of his Pietro Gerber series. 😱❤️
I just want to add how happy I am to watch your weekly vlog every Sunday!!! 😍 It's like spending time with a friend! ❤
Plus, I've just created an account on Storygraph in order to follow you there too... Still exploring the app! 😂
First, the emoji: 💫
Second, the question: The last book I pulled an all nighter for was probably The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. I read the first 50ish pages one night before bed and then the next day I read the rest of it in a couple hours. I LOVED that book.
Great vlog as always!!
I love Bookshops & Bonedust!! I’m so happy you loved it, if made me feel so happy and relaxed. I haven’t heard that many people talk about it so I got excited when you talked about it! That book made me want to read every cozy fantasy book ❤
shooting star
🌠 found the shooting star emoji! I remember reading The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe all in one sitting. In general, I want to read one book per week, so before I start reading a book, I look at the table of contents t o see how many chapters there are and divide that by 7 and then try to read that number of chapters each day. I tend to like faster-paced books, so the faster the pace of the book, the easier it is for me to reach my chapter goal each day.
🌟 loved this challenge, and thank you for changing up the music
🌠 yay for another video!!!! I will give Rouge another try because I listened to it on audio and didn't like it. I will try reading my physical copy.
Totally want to try I Am Fan!
I have NEVER read a book kn onr sitting because if I really live a book, I want to stay immersed in its world for at least a couple of days.
Curls look great on you 🤩
I loved this video so much! Your energy and vibes are unparalleled! ❤❤🥰💕💫💫
Omggggg sooo soooonnn!!! It's so hot hereeeee, and your videos are helping me survive the summers, Thankyouuu 🥰
Now ill have more books to add to my tbr!
I hope you’re having a nice summer!! 😊
@@alexandraroselyn Thankyouuuuuuuuu^^ 😍❤️🌞
Is anyone else obsessed with time the way I am. I kept track of my reading to where I know it takes an average of 3 hours for me to read about 100 pages. So, yes, reading 200 a day would be challenging since it would be on average 6 hours out of your day. Weekends are very doable, but for someone with a regular 40 hour job (not to mention if they have other obligations) would be tough. Love seeing these challenges.
Having Halloweentown vibes make The Honey Witch even more intriguing now😍
I hope you love it if you pick it up!! 😊
💫 A book I read that I loved was Ryan Cahill’s The Fall. It was fantastic. The other that I read that I was just so so on was The Only One Left.
Legends and Lattes was a 5+ 🌟 read for me. I was also worried about starting Bookshops and Bonedust but it was also SO good! I'll keep my hardcovers for future comfort reads. 🌠
A book I could NOT put down until I finished it and am completely obsessed with is - That time I got drunk and saved a demon. It was so fun and easy. I found myself laughing out loud curled up on the couch while the house slept and was so lost in the book and throughly enjoying myself. It was that light hearted fun yet spicy adventurous read that I needed. My brain enjoyed the break from reality to get lost in that read and I picked it up based off of your recommendation ✨
Love your videos, Lexi 💫 I would like to give this challenge a try, but I’d probably go the audiobook route. I've added When We Lost Our Heads to the tbr.
I seen a cozy fantasy with sprayed edges and thought you might like it. It is called You Can't Spell Treason Without Tea.
I could listen to Lexi talk about anything for days on end! ❤
I read many books in one sitting, but the one time i pulled an all nighter to finish a book was the lovely bones 🌠
I was able to read The Forgotten book of Witches in a single day, it's a graphic novel about witches and 8 did a readathon video on it recently 😅 such a great book. 🌠💫
Omg that sounds so good!!! I’ll look into that thank you!
Your curls are giving it allllll 🤩
Great cozy video Lexi! I am still determined to like the Honey Witch😂. I plan to start it soon. We’ll see how it goes!
💫 one book I finished in a day was Fourth Wing, I was so hooked! I’m also so intrigued by When We Lost Our Heads, definitely going to pick that one up!
love your content Lexie!! and your book recommendations are so good!
Aw thank you!! 😊
Loving the intro song!
Definitely getting some of this books as well, also love your rings!!!💫
Loved this, I may give Bookshops and Bonedust another try!
Last book I couldn’t put down and stayed up way into the early morning hours to read was Call Me By Your Name
I agree that a book has to really grab your attention or it's a struggle to get through. I really love true stories so Private Equity by Carrie Sun was unputdownable. I read The Truth About the Devlins by Lisa Scottoline very quickly too.
Great Video Lexi and The Book I Pulled An All Nighter/Read in one day was Twilight 🍎 Lol 😂 Happy Memorial Day to you and your family 🇺🇸😊
Loved watching your experiment ❤ A recent book that I couldn’t put down and read in 2 seatings was The Berry Pickers. A friend recommended it and so glad she did because I may not have picked it up on my own.
Great vlog Lexi , I feel I can do 100 pages a day of course if I love the book ❤️I’m a Fan and Honey Witch put on hold at Library 💫
Too Good to Be True Carola Lovering is the last book that I truly binged. I love her other book as well, Can't Look Away.
A challenge like this sounds like peak reader joy but stressfull at the same time xD i'm glad you had fun with parts of it
💫 I don’t think I’ve ever finished a book in one day! 😮 But I zoooooomed through both Emily Wildes!
The last unputdownable book I've read was Sirens and Muses! I love it so much, it turned into a new favorite of mine 🧡
Ohhh I love a fun weekly reading challenge 👏
Loved this vlog and it was such a fun challenge.❤️ ✨️
With my schedule I don’t do one setting reading. However The Inheritance Games I read in 2, that’s unheard of for me. 💫
To me, it doesn’t matter about the page number. I just wanna read a lot of chapters.
Oh that’s interesting Lexie!
To me it never matters about chapters because I’ve read IT by Stephen King and it has 23 chapters and an epilogue but 1,000+ pages and the book I’m reading now has 60 and an epilogue but has under 500 pages.
I'm kinda similar. The number of chapters doesn't matter but I need to stop at the end of a chapter!
I haven't read Honey Witch, but I wonder if you would have been a little more drawn to it if you didn't feel pressured to meet your daily page number goal. I have been reading the Byland Crescent series by Bill Kitson for literally years. I know because it was the book I was reading on my Kindle at work while pumping for my two youngest (they are 2.5 years apart and the baby will be 2 in September) lol. I find the story interesting, but slow. It ends up being what I pick up when I'm between books and not sure what to start next. So I'll read it for a few days until I get bored and make a decision for a new book. 😆
That may not work for everyone though. I also read several books at a time and I know that's not for everyone.
Love that you tired this but yes 200 pg + full time work might not work for most lol but you did great! Loved this 💫
Your Blood, My Bones I finished in one sitting. So good!
Connecting to a book is way more important than some people think. I'm a speed-reader; I can easily finish a 500 page book in 2 days, 3 tops. But I tried "Empire of the Vampire" last year, and it took almost a week to get to page 500 (out of 700), and at that point I was like "...not for me. Bye."
Bank holiday off which means I can watch this video later than normal.. YYAAYY!!
The one sitting thing doesn't happen because I have three young children lol. But the closest I came to that so far this year was "Oona Out of Order" and last year I'd tell my husband to leave me alone when the kids went to bed because I was so invested in "Babel" 😅
PS: I read "Bunny" last year and LOVED it and thought it was weird but I had it so built up in my mind to be super strange that I didn't think it was half as strange as reviewers were saying! So "Rouge" is staring at me from my TBR cart and it's probably for me❤
🌠 you have me so intrigued by I'm a Fan, it sounds like something I would love
A few books I have read in one day: Normal People, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, & For Your Own Good. 🌟
Love your videos, especially readathons...love listen to you while I make my earrings❤
YOU MAKW EARRINGS?! Omg that’s so cool!!!
I know you've read The Girls I've Been and I just saw that the sequel released this month! You should get that, too, and make a video. I want to know if you will love it the same as the first book 😁
Ahhhhhhh lexi content 💃🏻💕💕✨
I burn through anything from the American Girl collection. I love reading the new fiction as a grown up. 💫
Omg thank you! I so wanted to love the honey witch and I was so disappointed that I didn’t.
I’m loving your beautiful curls!! ❤
Loved your video. The last book that I read in one sitting was Everyone here is lying by Shari Lapena.
I have 2 books that I read in one sitting! First one being “we were liars” and “the astonishing Color of after” ✨ they were amazing!!
I couldn’t put down the second book from the Ravenhood series “Exodus”. I spent the entire day on my couch reading it.. 🤦🏻♀️ and then it ripped my heart out over and over again.
I love watching reading challenges like this one🤩 Maybe I'm also gonna try this out but with a lower amount of pages😅
Oh i love that Laura! Let me know how it goes!!
@@alexandraroselyn Yes, I'll definitely let you know☺️
⭐️💫
✨ another great video
Aw thanks Steven!! 😊❤
So nice to see you, Lexi! I'm so tempted to try Rouge but I hated Bunny so much idk if I can give the author another try 😅
I would skip Rouge honestly!! I loved it but it was muchhhh stranger than Bunny. I did just find a new favorite book of all time though!! So maybe try When We Lost Our Heads instead!! It’s incredible and I think it could appeal to a lot of people!! 😊
@@alexandraroselyn oh just looked that up and it sounds so fun!! Thank you 💜
🌠
I read the Hating Game in one day lol. I was SO tired at work the next day but i had to stay up and finish it. Contrarily, I just finished Into the Forest by Jean Hegland which is only like 250 pages but it took me close to two weeks to finish because I could NOT get into it.
When i find a good thriller, they become un-put-downable to me 😂 i read lock every door by Riley Sager based on your recommendation. I think it took me 24 hours to get through. Another one is Behind Closed Doors by B. A. Paris. It has the most hateable antagonist!
I could not put down, “Verity” by Colleen Hoover. “The Return of Ellie Black” by Emiko Jean. “It Ends with Us” by Colleen Hoover. And “Book Lovers” by Emily Henry.
I’m sure there are more but these are the main ones I remember.
Omg pleassse read All's Well by Mona Awad! It's so good. I would love to know your thoughts.
🌟
Someone gifted me a copy of Bookshop & Bonedust yesterday. I am excited to reread it.
A book that I finished in 1 sitting is the inheritance games by jennifer lynn barnes 💫
💫
Your thoughts on The Honey Witch seem to align with other Book Tubers that I have seen review it. Exciting premise but did not pull off the execution. Kayla seemed to think she would have benefited from more editing.
BRIGHT YOUNG WOMEN!!! Omg 💫
🌠No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai
I remembered sitting at the bookstore and devoured that book when i was in junior high or high school.
Teenagers do have some troubles😂
🌠✨
I read I’m a Fan this month!!
I just loved going through this experiment with you, but... I'm a true Miss Anarchy! I read a lot, every day & all sorts of themes, but...at my own will & pace! I know, I know, I'm the worst🙃🙈😉🤣☀️
🌟✨⭐
You should definitely read All’s Well by Mona Awad as well!
I read We Spread by Iain Reid in one sitting, so good!
The last all-nighter...cannot put this book down for me was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. All of HP was unputdownable.
I read Rouge and it took my 2 weeks 😢 I didn’t connect with it at all, I wish I had DNF the book and moved on from it. But I loved Bunny so I had been hopeful, oh well. 💫
Oh, I gave up on The Honey Witch about halfway. You're right, it was too slow and the characters were unreasonable
WeyWard was one that I could not put down 💫
