First of all Lexi, I'm absolutely here for your language in this video! My whole house is an unorganized chaos because I have 4 kids and I have ADHD. So I don't know what I'm doing even tho I'm 42 and that's ok. Also instead of saying "I spent too much money" I'm gonna start saying "I had a good time" LOVE IT!

Oh my goodness! I am so looking forward to this. We have had a lot of unexpected house expenses this week. Broken pipe (in two spots), broken washer, etc. I am relaxing with this while I fold the clothes I just washed at the laundromat. Cozy, comforting, and wonderfully familiar vibes to replenish me after a week of upsetting and unfamiliar moments. Thanks!
LOL Lexie we are so a like! When you are talking yourself into buying just one or two books at Barnes and Noble, or exchanging the book cover. 🙋♀ I have been in a spring restart mode too. Trying to organize so I can enjoy the nice weather to come. I hope you enjoy the sunshine near the water.
I feel like living on your own it takes time to figure out how to do things. I’ve lived in my house for two years and I just got my room organized so don’t stress about not having things organized yet 🍉

It takes time to get to a project, you need to be in the mood, have time, funds, and then you need to play around and figure out what you can fit into the space and see what works for you and what you like. No shame about ABBA!!! I listened to the CD of ABBA's greatest hits constantly as a child and they will always have a special place in my heart. Queen is one of the best bands ever. ⚠️ Vinyl collecting can be as addicting as books lol. Especially when you start finding some second hand treasures! I read Alone with You in the Ether this month as well, and its the easiest five stars I've given in awhile. I am so glad I own it andcan't wait to reread and annotate one day, too. I'm on a waitlist on libby for Pineapple Street. I just finished The Last Tale of the Flower Bride (physical library copy) and I loved Azure's POV. The husband was okay. But overall, I loved the lushness of the prose and enjoyed reading it. I felt uncomfortable with some of the ending.
Now that I'm finishing your video...I agree with you completely on the marketing thing with the Flower Bride!

I had very similar feelings about The Last Tale of the Flower Bride, and I agree it wasn't marketed that accurately. I really liked it, but there were definitely moments that made me sad in a not so fun way, but I think that was the intention so it didn't effect my overall feelings about it too much. It was a strange reading experience though lol
