Perks of being a wallflower broke me the movie especially was so impactful. Feel like another really good and impactful read/mini series that stuck with me forever is “Looking for Alaska.”

Anxious People by Fredrik Backman literally changed my life. the first 50-65 pages i was literally gonna DNF it and i’m pretty sure i put it down and started another book but then i came back to it AND THANK GOD I DID because it made me cry so many times and the quotes in it are so amazing! highly recommend

The book thief is amazing, it has so many feels and a great writing style. It’s one of my all time favorites. The audible production is fantastic also
The Beartown trilogy is my favorite in the contemporary fiction, I am in love with character studies, the glimpse into the real world, politics, teenagers, families etc.. Such a beautifully done work of art
I adored The Nightingale, she has another book called The Great Alone that NOONE TALKS ABOUT but its so so so good, probably my favorite by her!

i dont know how well this would work but i feel like a good video idea would be to read old booktok or booktube books. Like now days everyone has been picking up all the new releases and the more popular books right now. But instead you could make a video where you read all the books that used to be popular in 2020 to 2022 and see how peoples book preferences may have changed. It would also be kind of a fun throwback💗

I really enjoyed this video; I love seeing you branch out! I'm a huge fan of Kristen Hannah and have read most of her books. The Book Thief is also a great book! One I haven't seen mentioned in your comments and is one of my absolute faves is Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine--very highly rated on Amazon and Goodreads. ♥
on the topic of not rating books. i stopped rating books in the last 3 years and ive found myself enjoying books more without thinking about how im gonna rate them in the future. it helps me focus on the story more. maybe you should give it a try!!
Beartown is the first of a trilogy. And the story of the town as a whole is a slow burn over the trilogy. I recommend continue reading the series and you'll appreciate the first book more and more. Backman is one of my all time fave authors. Def read more of his work. Try Anxious People or A Man Called Ove next.
Books that have blown me away this year include: The Silence That Binds Us. Bright Young Women. The Last Love Note. Remarkably Bright Creatures. The Butterfly Project. And I really loved The Prison Healer series.

The My Brilliant Friend quartet is astounding and critically lauded. It can be difficult to get into and the names are confusing, but once you're in, you're in. It's immersive and sweeping

Kristin Hannah’s The Great Alone got me back into reading. I think the Nightingale is my favorite of hers so far! I didn’t think I was going to be into historical fiction, but now I’m hooked ❤ those tears man!

Perks is my favorite book, I've read it every year since 2011. The Nightingale was a 5 star book for me 3 years ago and Beartown was a 4 star read. So watching this video with some of my favorite books was so lovely!

I'm so glad you enjoyed "Beartown". It's such a great book. I feel like if you really enjoy his writing in "Beartown" then you'll like "Anxious People" by him as well. The writing and the way he weaves characters is pretty similar.
Sara i never rate my reads anymore! i feel like putting a number on my feelings doesn't feel right anymore and its such a nice feeling not having the pressure to rate books accurately! maybe you should try it out, like not rating the books you read for a week or a month
