Glad to see Yachting Monthly posting videos again. This one was a bit rough. The photographer breathing was loud and distracting. Rupert's delivery was awkward and parts were unclear, the interior was not easy to understand. He never discussed any electronics. There was an autopilot but what else? Still good to see and making these videos isn't easy keep up the efforts.
I'm going to dissent from my fellow posters and say I thought it was a pretty darn good review. Audio was mediocre, yes, but Rupert I thought used the seven minutes quite well. I like that roachy mainsail. She looks like a wonderful club racer and weekend cruiser to me.
Good to see a 32’ - something more manageable for solo cruising. Open transom is all the rage, but I’ll stick with my double-ender. However, still good to see layouts. Edit: ok, it can have a folding swim platform. That would close the transom. Nice.
How times and expectations change. When I got into sailing 50 years ago, a yacht of this size would not have been considered small. Something like an Invicta, Trident 24 or Contessa 26 might have fitted that description but not something over 30ft. Also, there was a huge choice of boats available around this size. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder of course but aesthetics are still important too - at least to this old bloke who grew up surrounded by beautiful boats like Kim Holman's Twister.
This cockpitfloor is probably the worst solution I have ever seen a business make.. We're in year 2022.. Is this really the best Dufour could come up with? Embarrassing
Properly bought good press and a shame for yachting monthly. A bit short? How about not usable as a bed at all? No word about the worst cockpit table design in history and no bathing platform available, just a SUP version of a bathing platform without the possibility of a ladder
I looked up the boat and a lot was missed. Dufour is generally considering a fair to middling brand, so some creaking is to be expected. There are two huge screens you can see at 15 seconds in, never mentioned. There is always room for improvement - since I liked their videos best back in the day I'm hoping they can rebuild. One thing that was clear is that the narration was not thought through first - it seemed get on the boat and wing it.

Great to have these boat tours and broaden your boat knowledge . Thanks

Thanks for the review. I love the tiller. But, I'd rather have an Azuree 33 C...
I agree - good review
not sure I fully understood the internal layout - e.g. what does "its a bit short at the foot end" really mean?
We have a Gib sea 312 which is an older version and to be honest I like it more than the look of the new one!

No lockers in the saloon with a lot of space above the sofas unutilized! Where do you store things?
Where is the old guy who did it for years?
The fake hull window is horrible
This channel just isn't the same anymore..... 😪
Nice audio... try to here it sober..

This was a badly done video, sorry. Also the boat looks bare bones, what a rip off. Brand new and creaking.

32 foot...a "smaller yacht"............so sad.
What a painful person to listen to. Nice boat, but he may be better at writing for a magazine, not delivering videos.
The narration is absolutely awful!
You really do not get it?
This is an overpriced boat for what it delivers...
A presenter that ½ the time sounds like he’s suffering from a stammer is hard to listen to!
this things horrible looking. the exterior is fine the interior though omg.
Not worth the price, space utilization looks to be poor and a tiller on modern craft makes no sense.
