He pretty much just made it a fair match, as multiplying their health made them closer in Hp and they already do pretty similar damage, The king of storms didn't do that much damage so when NK came out his and Yhorms Hp were still close to each others, the deciding factor was going to be who was faster or more mobile as they had pretty close health and damage, NK was both faster and more mobile so it only made sense he won in their second match
The walk of namless at the end and the finisher with the lighting bolt was sooooooooo edgy. At this point Yhorm just new what was about to happen to him.

Nameless King needed to have 4 times the health and a Dragon with 4 times the health to be able to defeat the legend himself , and even then he nearly lost. I swear if we didn't have he Stormruler , Yhorm would be the hardest boss in the game.
It wasn't close enough to be called a near loss. When Yhorm killed the King of the Storm in the 2nd round, he still had 49241 hp left. And Nameless King beat him while having way less health (39804 hp). To me this just confirms that NK truly is a god of war.
I beat Yhorm with the Farron Greatsword from half health. The first 50% I took away using the Storm Ruler, but it was a freaking long fight. Took around 25-30 minutes.
at the end of his Tsorig and Eyon vs Champion Gundyr video, bonfire showed a really cinematic trailer for abyss watchers, aldrich, yhorm and soul of cinder Ludleth will win 100%
I’m not sure that’s even a possibility. Both are probably locked mechanically to their locations. Maybe the ancient wyvern could fight down in Carthusian, but that could Cause some issues too
I remember reading that the original intention for fighting the Nameless King was to give you the storm-ruler so you could use it against Yhorm. Interesting how these things turn out in the final game.
It's funny that the Yhorm is the easiest boss in the base game but simultaneously the strongest boss in the base game, only rivaled by Midir and maybe Gael (both of which are endgame bosses) in terms of raw strength and defense. It speaks volumes as to how noble Yhorm is, he could easily wreck the player if he really wanted to but he's just such a damn good King that he offers anyone who thinks he's not doing his duty a Goddamn sword that kills him two hits. Had he not have gone hollow the guy would have probably solo'd the entire game
I'm fairly certain that we are nearing the point where all the bosses unionize in order to permanently ban Yhorm from partaking in these competitions. Heh.
The only equals to Yhorm are Darkeater Midir and Slave Knight Gael and he is btw a base boss so for him to be that tough for all the other bosses where the only boss that can beat him are the 2 endgame bosses of the last DLC with one being basically an Ancient Dragon’s ancestor who consumes the Dark like it’s breakfast which is the same thing that beat Artorias and that dragon was close to becoming the next Manus which is the most terrifying thing ever is insanity and the other basically killed everyone else in the Dark Souls world that was left and basically wielded the raw power of lightning and not the one that everyone else had which was gold is insanity.
HP buff or not, NK was fighting much more efficiently in that second round than he usually performs in these boss vs boss fights, constantly slashing and thrusting, not relying on his miracles too much, and put his foe on their knee more often than he himself went down

If you're referring to the fire breath where he flys up and breaths it down below him, there are no bugs there. Yhorm's just immune to fire damage so it can't hurt him.
With the Yhorm matchups it's like you can reliably predict the outcome by how fast Yhorm breaks down to his knees. Even with even matchups Yhorm gets stunlocked too easily.

I don´t know. It would be the longest fight, but not the hardest. Yorm´s Moveset is easy to predict.
