I love that the only two beings powerful enough to kill a god (the nameless king is a god who was forsaken for siding with the dragons against his own father) Are a man who was a slave to the gods, and a dragon who watched his people be killed by the gods
To be fair..both of them are dark type boss...gael is completely immune to lightning in 3rd phase...while midir is weaker to lightning...but well he is midir...the strongest boss in ds3
And I was gonna say "Since when does he leave lightning while charging?" then I read the title also: while so many just got melted Midir ate him for lunch
@@handzofstone1152 That's not true. Midir had 15k health. That's the bog standard Midir. And also the boss/boss fight borks Midir's AI that makes him way easier. In several of these battles, you never once see Midir bust out the death laser or take to the air.. things he does almost constantly vs. a player.

Yeah , nameless king is like probably the most aggresive boss in the game, he contiously attacks nonstop without giving you a break to breath, sadly he lost to gael and midir due to large amounts of health, but still won almost all the bosses lol
Man, this part 18:15 looks like it's from the trailer of dark souls or something like it 😂. Even the soundtrack was in perfect timing. NK could be the protagonist of his own game with that scene

Felt so bad for Ashes of Andariel’s bosses: Gravetender looks like a termite next to the King, so many of his attacks line up with Greatwolf’s head way too well, and the effects added to his attacks all add knock back or knockdown which utterly screws someone like Friede …I imagine the Sandworm still gives no fucks about anything this guy does though

Gael started to crush NK in phases 2 and 3 because his lightning defence skyrockets in those phases, and he starts doing Dark damage, which NK is very weak to.
Thing is that Pantagana uploaded a video with Gael getting ganked by nameless king and SoC numerous times, Gael taking Nameless King down everytime. He wouldn't have won against Gael, Gael is simply better.

It havent been 5 minute yet and it was over 3 minute to stagger Firstborn on every Video everytime Firstborn fought Midir, He always get Destroyed like minced Meat Squeezee by God Abyss Dragon over 10 time feet with 1000 long lenght
Would the demon prince fight go differently if he had killed demon in pain first? The laser moveset is much more lethal than the meteor rain, especially since NK likes edgelord walking everywhere.
one of my biggest problems with AI fights like these is that people treat them as fair assessments of a bosses capabilities, when in reality, the boss doesn't understand that it isn't fighting a player. their entire AI is still based around the concept of fighting someone with the capabilities, health, movement speed ect, of a player character. Nameless King is a God, and he fights you like he knows you're a mortal. this mod makes him fight like he's fighting a giant monster, putting all of his energy into every swing rather than his old approach of coldly and calmly swatting around a bothersome lesser being. It works perfectly for boss v boss fights, because it makes his AI seem like it actually understands he's up against things comparable to him in size and power.

Lothric’s sacred light did good damage to Nameless King probably his first time getting hit from light he looked so desperate to stop Lorian from launching that sacred light wave slam would have probably killed Nameless King lol
Nameless king and Pontiff just slowly edge walking towards each other was just completely badass
