6:25 Akshardham Temples are also located all across the world, the other most notable being in the New York area and Gandhinagar (Gujarat, India).

people who have never lived in Delhi do say that. Whether or not you like it, Delhi has much more to offer than any other city in India. Great food... decent public transport...decent infra.. lots of historical sites and modern shopping areas... So I hope she explores Delhi even more and ignores your comment. :)

I lived in new ashok nagar for 2 years...overall delhi is very polluted and dirty.

    • @berlin2047
      @berlin2047 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

@@kaushalrawat4536 A lot of the country is polluted. I don't think any tourist wants to go to New Ashok Nagar. Akshardham temple, Central Vista, India Gate Hexagon, NDMC district, Delhi ridge, Aerocity, Hauz Khas and Khan Market are all very clean and touristy. They are the cleanest places in not just Delhi, but entire India. Maybe you never had the chance to visit them when you stayed in Delhi. You should visit someday ;)

Delhi is an otherwise awesome tourist destination. It is the tourist traps which make it look bad. Here are a few things to do in Delhi:
Monuments: Red Fort, Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar, Hauz Khas Ruins, India Gate, Purana Quila - and there are many more
Iconic places of worship: Akshardham Temple, Jama Masjid, Bengla Sahib, Bahai Place of Worship (Lotus Temple)
Parks for a leisurely stroll: Lodhi Garden, Hauz Khas Village Park, Sunder Nursery, Garden of Five Senses, Central Park CP
Shopping: Khan Market, Cannaught Place, Select Citywalk, Mall of India, Ambience Mall
Museums: Museum of Illusions, National Gandhi Museum, Gandhi Smriti, National Gallery of Modern Art, Jantar Mantar
Plays, Shows and Concerts: India Habitat Center, Siri Fort, Kingdom of Dreams
Dining: Bukhara, Indian Accent, Olive Bar and Kitchen (there a many more for every price range)
Night Life: Plenty of options like Hauz Khas Village (Social), Nehru Place, CP, DLF Cyber Hub (Gurgaon)
Tips to not get ripped off:
    1. Use Delhi Metro for most of your travel. For last mile connectivity, use Uber/Ola for Cabs and Autos. Bike taxi is also an option if you are riding alone (Rapido provides them). If you directly take an Auto they will surely rip you off, so even if you want to take an auto on the street, compare the quoted price with the one on Ola/Uber.
    2. Stay away from Tour and Travel agents who approach you with some travel package or another. If you want to use a travel agent, search google for reviews and book your tour from their office.
    3. Be wary if someone comes to you and tells that they are official / govt tour agency. No govt. tour agency will approach you for tours/travel packages.
    4. If in doubt, use Reddit (r/india_tourism) to ask questions to Indians before visiting the country.

Don;t start your journey from Delhi, better start from South state or N-E state.
