The best and the most buttery Paav Bhaaji on Planet Earth.

If you guys are still in Janakpuri, Hyatt, try Sagar Ratna across the street, its about 500m from Hyatt and serves one of the best South Indian food I have had, besides they have north Indian cuisine as well. Try butter masala dosa and vegetable cheese dosa with fillter coffee. Also they have unlimited serves (within decency) of sambhar which tastes awesome. Also they have nice ambience inside, the resro is on Janakpuri west metro station ooposite to the street, of wow momos.

You should try Sagar Ratna, a South Indian restaurant at its branch located in the basement of the hotel, “The Ashok” in the Chankyapuri area of New Delhi. Try their Myshore sada dosa. They use a special Myshore spice coating in the dosa, which is really good. “Sada. Dosa” means Dosa without the potato filling. Their Myshore spice flavor is so good that you have eat the dosa without the potato filling to really enjoy it.

Jessica, the clay cup adds to the flavor, and believe me, it does taste wow. You're going to have to take an India Chef with you back home if you want to enjoy these dishes perpetually😂. Else, take a crash course and learn some of India's finest, authentic cuisines that will keep your taste buds in check. I just love the way you ooze with delight as you bite into those dishes. You should try Parottas with butter chicken in a Punjabi restaurant if you find one close by. The Bengali sweets are mouth-watery and so too are those large Falludas if you have a craze for sweet desserts. I'm sure Alfonso will love it. Can't wait to see your next street food videos in Paschim Vihar.

    Hello Jessica, Alfonso and Alfonso,
I have followed all your food videos for almost a year or more. We are happy that you like Indian food and delicacies. You truly have developed a very good knowledge of Indian cuisine. Your videos are very interesting and very well presented by you and Alfonso senior with good presentation and music
They give us an idea of how Indian restaurants operate in your country.
It is very good all three of you made it to India. Welcome to India, New Delhi and Mumbai.
I just want to bring to your notice one major unintentional mistake or lapse that happens when food lovers and bloggers visit Mumbai.
Mumbai is the Capital of a Western Indian State called Maharashtra. The local language spoken here is Marathi and the culture of this state is called Maharashtrian Culture.
Maharashtrian Culture has its own Maharashtrian Food Culture which is very unique and popular by itself and has exciting sub - Maharashtrian food cultures like Malvani Food ( coastal cuisine from Malvan), Varhadi Food from Vidarbha region of Maharashtra ( East Maharashtra), Kolhapuri spicy non veg food from Kolhapur ( South Maharashtra) , Puneri Brahmin food from Pune ( Central Maharashtra) ( vegetarian and less spicy food ) had on pious and festive occasions, Mumbai city ( West Maharashtra) culture food like Batata Wada, Vada Pav, Panipuri , Sev Batata puri, Pav Bhaji, Masala Dosa, Idli Sambar etc, Maharashtrian, Punjabi , South Indian, Gujarati restaurant foods etc.
But what we have seen is most food bloggers miss all the above by and large and end up on Muhammad Ali rood because it is close to their hotels. In the process they eat food which is not the culture and home food of 95% people or Maharashtra but a limited food choice of a small percentage of population. Nothing wrong with it, but almost 95% food bloggers who come all the way from USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, Japan, Korea etc miss the real Maharashtrian food ( both vegetarian and non vegetarian) by limiting their good tour to South Mumbai or the two beaches of Girgaum Chowpatty and Juhu Chowpatty.
My request to all three of you is visit Central Mumbai ( Dadar and Shivaji Park) and if possible Thane ( North of Mumbai ) and visit authentic Maharashtrian restaurants like Prakash and Aswaad at Shivaji Park ( Central Mumbai), Panshikar ( at both Dadar ( Central Mumbai ) and Girgaum ( South Mumbai). You can ask your local guides to take you to local Maharashtrian restaurants and Malvani ( which is dialect of Marathi) SeaFood joints in Mumbai and Thane. There is more to Maharashtrian Food than Mumbai Street Food ( which also is Maharashtrian Food by the way).
Looking forward to your Mumbai visit soon. All the Best to both the Alfonso’s and to you.

There are a whole bunch of things you must try - Definitely go try the East Indian food (that's the community native to Bombay) at Frenys in Bandra, try the vada pav at Ashok Vada pav near Kirti College! I would also recommend trying a chill beer with Parsi food at Military cafe it is quite the experience!

Try Jaggernut for South Indian food.. they have a branch in Rajouri Garden or in Connaught Place.. Similarly you can visit Naivedyyam or Sagar Ratna for South Indian Food.. South Indian food mainly is Dosa, Idly and Vada with Samber.. For North Indian food, you can try Gulati at Pandara Road, it is near the India Gate.. Try butter chicken at Daryaganj restaurant, they are the one who have discovered Butter Chicken

Wait till you have the same menu in South India....., you'll definitely taste the difference, the freshness and taste of the same food in South India would stun you. When in Delhi, you should try chole bhatoore, pani puri, etc from small vendors, they'll have more authentic taste. Old Delhi tour of chandni chowk is a must do.....

Whenever I see Americans enjoy Indian food, I feel good for them. It’s not about how rich Indian culture and food is in terms of taste and variety…I just feel good that they finally know that there is a whole new world of vegetarian options. One doesn’t have to compromise of taste and culinary delight if one wants to give up(or reduce) meat consumption.
When I was in US(1996-2000) I use to feel sorry for people(those Americans who were trying to reduce meat) not knowing about options beyond salad(though I use to eat chicken some of my Indian friends were strictly vegetarian & they would struggle to find options).
Thanks to many Indian in US and internet in general, I am happy the people in the west know about so many options that they have.

I can tell you that if you have South Indian items you had in this video , pair with Sourh Indian Filter Coffee. It's best combination.
Try visiting famous Greater Kailash II 's M block market. The area is upscale, gol gappa, kulfi falooda, original butter chicken inventor's restaurant is there.
Do visit Gurgaon for It's modern city vibe.
India is modern as well old within same city. But, food is flavorful.
When you visit Mumbai, visit Shri Thakar Bhojanalay at Kalbadevi area for authentic Gujarati Vegetarian thali. Concept of thali in restaurants was made famous by Gujarati thalis. You will get there Keri no Ras or Aam Ras or Indian Mango pulp soupy liquid , which can highlight of your India food tour.
