Let me tell you my experience of Europe -
      Helsinki Airport
On a Sunday, at 1 pm most of the cafes and shops were closed because the people were chilling at home, while there was practically nothing to eat except useless lounge food.
Airport check-in experience - Turkish Airways, Business Class, even in the priority queue, there was no1 to attend, I had to put luggage tags, take out my boarding pass etc myself. No help, because there were no people
Copenhagen (Denmark) - At 7:30 pm (in summers), most of the cafes were closed. The only thing you get was some hotdog at 7Eleven (or some equivalent shop). That processed pork meat, which is not just unhealthy but even tastes gross. We had to walk for 3 kms to find an Italian takeout place, which was just getting shut but one of the worker there was an Indian and hence he gave us some food else we would have to sleep without eating food.
      Berlin -
Scammed in a Turkish cafe, found pastic in meat ball, they gave us different menu and locals a different menu, when I checked the rates were different for locals and foreigners (almost 1.5x the price)
Madrid - While walking we reached a dingy place which was scary as hell. Almost everyone was smoking weed and just lying on floor in their own vomit. We turned around and just came back to the main area. Same was the case with Barcelona (take one street going out from La Rambla, and within 100 meters, weird graffiti, drugged men/women and dirt will welcome you).
      Bergen Airport (Norway)
No smoking zone once you cross security check. While I am not encouraging smoking , but every big airport has smoking area as a norm
Almost whole of Europe - No public toilets which are free, you either wear a diaper or buy stuff from cafes to use their toilets. I found just one public toilet which was Free in Vienna, close to cityhall, and it was stinking as hell, someone had pooped there and didn't even care to flush. I couldn't stand there for a second, so had to buy some food at the local cafe (around 5-6 euros) to use their toilets. Same is the case with all of Europe, be it Prague, Budapest, Paris, Bern, Zurich etc.. No public toilets at all...
Despite all this, when I post about my travel to Europe or any other country, I mention their good points, talk about the positives, unlike you guys who selectively went to worst of the areas in Delhi (which even Delhi people avoid) and painting the picture of entire Delhi like that. I won't believe that you have not seen aerocity which is close to Delhi airport, because that's the place you pass by while going to the airport, but you people intentionally chose to show only the bad side.

I know of India is it has many shortcomings but overall the country is just amazing with such an insane diversity in its geography. The regions of India vary to such an extent with Snow capped ethereal mountains aka the himalayas in the North, vast desert in Northwest, amazing plateaus in the Central region, beautiful sea coasts and tropical backwaters in the far south and mangrove forests in the east. Apart from the geography, India has such a wide variety of wildlife species many of them endangered like Royal Bengal Tigers, Rhinos, Red Panda, Snow Leopard, etc. The country has literally hundreds of different ethnic groups with languages, cultures widely different from each other for example a person of Kashmir looks completely different to a person from Kerala and both of them are again different from a Northeast Indian.Northwest India ( Kashmir- Gulmarg, Pehelgam, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh- Manali, Shimla, Dharamsala, Rishikesh) Northeast India ( Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland) Kerala, Goa, Hampi, Ellora, Madurai, Oooty, Munnar, Doodhsagar. I gurantee you guys Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh as beautiful as China. Kashmir is as wonderful as Eastern Europe with its mountains. Ladakh will seem as some other wordly place. Look I am just recommending this places to you because these are the true gems which are unexplored by many tourists. They fail to get their true rewards of visting India and gets the worst aka the Golden Triangle of Delhi, Varanasi and Agra which is literally shit. The true diversity and beauty of India lies in its remote regions.

I am an Indian but i am very disappointed by the comment section. There are a lot of cities which are very chaotic such as delhi, mumbai, hyderabad, kolkata, banglore etc. Try visiting Himachal Pradesh or Jammu and Kashmir in north india. Try visiting south india you will be very pleased with your trip, try visiting north eastern states of india it would elevate your trip or try visiting Maharashtra except Mumbai you will find all kind of terrain in India which you can find all around the world, be it desert, ocean, mountains, forest etc. Thank you

  • @Ozukovsky
    @Ozukovsky หลายเดือนก่อน +8

0:21 Actually depends on where you are in India. Delhi, Mumbai, Rajasthan, UP etc are chaos and noisy.
South Indian states, north east Indian states are quiet and peaceful. Different from a climate perspective as well, food is completely different, culture is different. 0 pollution, full of natural beauty.
So it really depends where you are in India. Not every hotel or every place in India is noisy

We love your videos and we are your regular followers from India..Now living in Germany.
We saw your videos of India. Unfortunately being the largest populated country in the world, it is obvious that some areas/cities in India are not that clean or as per your expected standards.
But there are much more to see, experience and eat in India. What you have captured or seen, is nothing. There is lot more. India has a rich variety of food and culture and is one the diverse countries in the world.
We felt disappointed that you only captured the bad things/garbage/poverty and did not try to explore some other/more places/cities.
You could have team up with some Indian food vloggers, so that they could have guided you properly.

This is why travelling light can be the best option, dressing in local clothing like you see people there wearing can be a great move, especially paired with hats when appropriate.
I've done this in Italy, and not only did it mean the clothes were a lot cooler and I stopped sweating, I also stopped being noticed.
The trousers I bought there were great, though only lasted a few months when I got home as they were thin, but they did their job.
Works better if you have the right skin colour and know a few local words and phrases like 'no thank you' or 'I have to go, in a hurry, already late'.

Spicier food is always closer to the equator / hot areas. Meats go bad faster in hotter to condition climates and the spice traditionally helped mask the flavor. Since then there's been some improvement in meat handling / storage but... the spice/heat culture remains. Not all of india is equally hot spicy. They're also big into flavor-spicy, just a wide range of spice mixes used.

Sorry to hear about your experience with Delhi. I grew up there and I understand it can be sometimes be overwhelming. However, I wanted to recommend you travel there next time with a local and see parts of Delhi beyond CP and Old Delhi. CP is also not the most modern part of Delhi, just central and for old Delhi there can be different days and time of the day you go to enjoy the experience without the chaos.
I grew up in South Delhi and some parts there can be crowded too but here is some good food you can try
    - Aunty momos - go to the one in GK1 m block. Maybe on a monday evening at 5 pm
    - Price paan - right next to it with some chaat like paani puri and more
    - South extension - bhel puri and sev puri on the street. Go early on a Tuesday
    - Butter chicken at Minar- this is not your typical butter chicken and one of my favourites in the city
    - Try Indian accent if you want a fancy meal
    - Galouti roll at Aap ki Khatir in SDA. This is a small store with really nice kebabs and rolls
    - I personally love the loyal biryani at Nizamuddin
    - Nizams is good for egg rolls
    - Baked rasgulla in CR park at Rasoraj or another sweet shop is really nice too.
I am hungry now and miss Delhi. All the best

Our local Indian restaurant has pretty mild food as well! I order mine 6-8 X Hot! They don't like to do it but since they know me they give in! I get mine so hot people's eyes burn at my table alone! Lol. I really don't think their food is nearly as Hot as people always say it is! I really love spicy food and I've only had 1 indian restaurant in my spice range! I remember them saying that they would give me a medium spice level and I'll have to say it was more than a medium spice! I think they did it way hotter to scare me but I ate the heck out of it all! Anyway... Sorry to hear how bad things were there! Maybe the only way to go to a poor country like that is with a guide that will get rid of those kind of people!

Those were not jalebis actually....no idea why they said that! Those were imartis! Also that tourist office thingy is now a common scam in Delhi! Would advise any foreigners travelling in to India to avoid those scenes in Delhi completely! Also love that you guys touched on the caste and class discrepancy in the country! It usually gets glossed over! Sorry about how things unravelled...it can get overwhelming...but I hope you get some space from this and do give India another chance! Love and hugs

India is about the caste system. Poverty is what you are born into or Wealth - just all depends, you are stuck where you are. It's such a powerful system that it influenced the UK social system and the UK is still trying to break free of it.

the food looks great, love the look of those fresh breads that look like footballs. However I am sad to see the streets the way that they look there, it seems daunting and scary to be honest. I am not sure if it just the area you both visited, but it is it is not good for tourism. I am wanting to know if you would ever go back again? I would probably say no, but you can say that you have experienced what it was like to travel to India and to see those less fortunate in life. It broke my heart to see the people sleeping on the streets and washing their clothes, the kids begging for food or money and the black do looking malnourished 😢

It's no wonder that Siddhartha's father forbade the young prince fron venturing beyond his beautiful walled garden; he knew well that just beyond the palace walls lay a hellish nightmare!

Moreover Buddha was in Nepal and in ancient time India was one of the richest civilizations check it out thats what history says
India was only turned poor after 1000 years of barbaric islamic rule and mongol invasions

Moreover if ancient India was such horrible it would not have attracted Greeks and Romans, Alexander would not have dreamt of conquering it he did it because of Indias wealth+ ancient Greeks like Megasthenes had visited India and had clearly written their accounts admiring India
India had trade with the west according to archaelogical evidences like an ancient Buddha statue found in Alexandria, Egypt

I'm so used to Brits asking for HOT curry in the UK Indian restaurants, getting their plates and being given washcloths to wipe their brows while they eat. And their faces turn beat red, while the sweat drips down their noses.
