- My mom came to visit us from Finland for a couple of months in the end of 2023. After spending time with us at our home in Kerala, we decided to take her on a road trip to Goa. Annika has always loved our numerous beach vacations to Goa even as a small baby, so she was pretty excited about it. We spend a few nights in Palolem, where the beach is perfect for children. We also celebrated my mom's birthday at a restaurant and danced till the wee hours. Later, we drove north through Panjim to Candolim. We were quite disappointed to note that the beach shacks hadn't started their operations because of some licensing issues. It almost ruined our holiday! We then moved from our AirBnB to a resort style hotel called Albuquerque, which came as a life saver. Annika loved the small pool there and we all had a fun time in the end. In the next video we'll be moving further north to explore more Goan beaches :)

Goa is a great place to be with children. Simply allow them to enjoy themselves, run around, swim, build sand castles…….even us adults become children. Love it that Annika is enjoying this special holiday with her grandmother 😀.
And palolem is definitely theeee best beach for that! Second place goes to morjim/ashvem perhaps

In some ways it’s easier, and in many not… Annika has a lot of car sickness (just like i’ve had since i was her age) and being in the backseat makes it worse.

Palolem on kyllä Goan ihanin julkinen ranta! ❤ Tosi rentouttava paikka ja kivoja ravintoloita jne. Me tykättiin paljon Magic Italy-ravintolasta, jossa oli mun mielestä Intian parhaat pizzat 😋 Onkohan se siellä vielä…?!
Goaan pääsee kätevästi myös Mumbaista 😊 kivaa vastapainoa suurkaupunkiarjelle. Me tultiin juuri Intiasta, tekee mieli takaisin kun näitä katselee! 😍
Joo siellä on tosi tosi helppo rentoutua, kun se ranta on niin helppo tosi hyvine palveluvalikoimineen ja ylipäänsä helppo liikkua niin pienellä alueella jos haluaa välillä poistua rannalta syömään jonnekin muualle tai shoppaileen 😄 oon kans kuullut magic italysta hyvää! Mutta en oo löytänyt sitä millään meidän palolemin reissulla! Mun lempparipizzat on Benaulimissa goodfellasissa tai anjunassa muistaakseni luna’s. Jollei siis nyt Mumbain pizzavalikoimaa lasketa mukaan! Meillä kans tarkoitus täältä tehdä useampia pitkiä viikonloppuja Goalle että pääsee vähän useammin vaihtamaan vapaalle 😊

You should explore more in Goa. There are more place which you will be amazed instead of visiting crowded Beaches Northmost. And when you are exploring travel by car ( for your safety , as you know our Goan traffic 😅).
We've visited and made videos all over Goa, like Benaulim and Palolem areas :) And we actually only ever travel to Goa by driving our own car, especially on the last two holidays that have included my sister and my mom

We’re not in Kerala anymore. But our plan is to enroll her to dance classes once she’s big enough for classical dance.
