Personally favorite of the series as a whole is invasion of astro monster. It was the first ever Godzilla movie I ever saw and it made me fall in love with the series.
Of all the Showa sequels, this is the one that best balances B-movie entertainment with genuine thematic drama. Of all the Godzilla films out there, this is probably the one I've rewatched most after the 1954 original.
It's funny. For the longest time, ever since I was a kid, I never understood that the giant dome housing the egg was supposed to be made of glass because it never looks like it. It wasn't until recently when I actually paid attention to the story that I realized it's supposed to be a giant incubator.
Possible amusement park called Kaijutopia which includes the universes of Gamera and Godzilla and other kaijus such as King Kong, Stay Puff Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters, the space bosses of Metroid and the 7 Emotional Entities of the DC Comics Green Lantern comic universe.
HBO MAX has all of the Classic Godzilla Showa movies in HD. as for the rest, Internet Archive, even if they are like low quality(360p or 480p) just search for whichever Godzilla movie you want to watch
I love this movie a lot. But I feel like the saving the school children was out of place or was added in to make the film a little longer. Still, it’s one of my most favorite Showa Godzilla films.

Back then i never like this movie cause as a kid i liked Godzilla. Every time he lost to Mothra i got mad cause she always got the win on him even if she passed away physically. Now its kinda funny watching this movie cause Godzilla really goofs up alot in this film
If you ask me friend it's not a loss unless Godzilla dies. And even then he just keeps coming back from the dead. As far as I'm concerned that means he never loses.

This is for me one of the not soooo good Godzilla-movies in the showa era. Too much fast-filmed-fighting and Godzilla is so stupid when he walks through the city. Of cause it is still a good movie but most of the other ones are better!
