10:58 I'm not sure why he said that. Is does come with a USB-A to USB-C adapter 3:30. I have seen it used on a MacBook so I'd imagine it will work just fine for PC too. I plan on using in on my PC too when I get it 👍
Great informative review! I did notice that you mentioned there's no USB-A to USB-C adapter, but looking at the product page and at 3:26, it seems like there is one in the package.
Does it fit with mumba BATTLE case? I know it fits the blade one but the battle case seems to have thicker and uneven bottom. Guessing the flat spacer could be used for that but wondering how it fits if it still does
The only thing I don't care for about the Skull & Co AudioStick Bluetooth 5.0 Adapter for Nintendo Switch/Lite is how far it sticks out from the console. I like the size better of the Genki Audio Lite Bluetooth 5.0 Adapter for Nintendo Switch/Lite better. That one does for me just what I want/need it to whole stick out from the Switch to much. Sure it only allows you to connect one pair of headphones at a time but it is compatible with bluetooth speaks, built-in mic of bluetooth headsets too. I am sure it will work with everything the Skull & Co adapter does just need the right adapter for it. The one I was going to get if not for the size of the one from Genki would have been the one from Skull & Co. Afterseeing your review of it, It seems like the Skull & Co & the Genki 50. bluetooth adapters are two great choosed for adding bluetooth to a Switch/Lite and other devices.
@@RoXolidI get that but for me I don't like adapters sticking out that far from any device. I like them as small as they can be while doing what I need/want them to do. But like I had said in my comment originally it was the other one I was going to get. Also it and the Genki one I have are both great options.
@@RoXolid I agree. For it I try to go for style as much as functionality. They are both equal to me. But if I should ever need another one the Skull & Co one is what I probably would get.
Being completley transparent, I lost this adapter about a year ago and haven't used it since for clear reasons. That being said, you can't use voice chat in-game with the Switch so it's not a usable option.
I have one of these and my neighbor told me it kept connecting to their TV and turning it on and off. Anyone having this problem with it connecting to other people's things?
The only way it would do that is if there was... crud, what's it called... CEC, that's it, if CEC is enabled for that HDMI port it could possibly turn the tv on when the Switch is docked and turn it off when the Switch is removed.
A bit late to the party but I just can't get over the delay in sound when playing games on the switch, I'm using aptx ugreen earbuds and it's still absolutely terrible. If I scroll through menus in game, the sound is still catching up when I've stopped. Am I missing something? Any advice would be much appreciated.
It’s the headphones but most headphones will have a delay. I have brand new Apple AirPod max headphones and they have a delay too. Audio delay always feels bad.
I haven't noticed a major difference, and there's no charging at all it just takes voltage from the Switch for power (no battery). You figure the speakers draw power to work, the BT adapter draws about the same or possibly less.
can you use this on xbox series x? i heard it works on all bluetooth devices. and the xbox series x controller has a usb c input so i think it’ll work but it isn’t stated anywhere if it will work or not.
You are supposed to be able to. I tried once and didn't get it to work, but I only spent about 10 minutes on it. I need to try again because if I can use my Raycons while streaming, that'll be awesome
My switch(gen 2 bought from Japan) freezes up immediately once I connect the adapter to it! Is anyone else experiencing this issue or knows how to resolve it? It works on my ps4 pro so I doubt it's a faulty adapter. Hesitating initializing my switch just for this cos idw to lose the MH Rise demo I have on it 😅
I noticed there seems to be two different revisions of this adapter. On another review video I saw, his adapter has the "LL" instead of the mic icon on the right side. Does your voice chat on the PS5 work well with your airpods/airpods pro? In another other review, he mentioned that the user must change the mic input to the dualsense controller. On amazon reviews, people are reporting dropped audio quality when using voice chat. Seems there may be some discrepancies and I'm trying to figure out if newer adapters are resolving the issues reported.
I have a GuiKit Bluetooth Adapter tbh, but using Bluetooth 3.0 meaning latency problem is unavoidable Especially in a game where you need precise sound to play, like rythym games making the GuiKit really bad to use

8:45 "low latency mode"? Why is it in/out of low latency mode? Shouldn't it be in lo latency ALL THE TIME?
not all headphones support low latency codecs. Most true wireless headphones only support AAC, not the lower latency APTX and APTX-LL, for instance.
