    What an ingenious design! I've been looking for another dock for a while and I was unsure if I really wanted to try a third party one... Even if it's supposed to be safer now, I guess the sad bricked switch stories are harder to forget. But this one looks very promising! I love the versatility of the ''core'' and the way the dock itself allows for different switch cases. You can tell they really tried to make it as useful as possible. Thank you for your video, it was very thorough!

    Nice vid. was wondering what alternative charger you can recommend, I will be traveling soon and the switch charger is too big to for me. there are several usb c PD chargers like the ones from anker or aukey. specifically im looking at the 90w aukey. will that work ?

    • @RoXolid

      I would honestly stick with the OEM Charger myself. If you want to look 3rd Party the Genki, Skull & Co, and a few others are compliant and will work. Just be careful. I haven't tested the Anker or Aukey so I can't speak towards them.

    • @RoXolid
      @RoXolid  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The JumpGate. It's compatible with more cases, I love the Core Drive for in the go, and the are times when I forget how the little magnet piece is supposed to go when in use which is frustrating.

    That cable is not a USB-C male to female adapter. Think about it, what would that even mean ?
    You put in a male connector and on the other end you get? A male connector. Nothing is adapted. XD
    It's a (small) USB-C extension cable.

If you use wired controllers like me, the controller will have to be pluged into the back of of the dock, which if you aren't careful, could cause accidents. The best thing you can do if you're worried about bricking your Switch, which I wouldn't be any longer, is to make sure you use either the OEM Nintendo Power Supply or a PD 3.0-compliant one. Also, videos that show the Switch being bricked by 3rd party docks, look at the posting dates. The issue is 3+ years old at this point and long resolved.
