  • In this video Frank will show how to use Super Hold Gel (Gel is best) or Super Hold Mousse to settle pigeons to the loft without worry of losing the pigeon. This may be a big help for One Loft Racers for any fancier that has trouble with fly aways. For more information and articles see mclaughlinloft...

      Give it a try. Use super hold hair gel. I did not have any for the video.

    Hi Frank, how long do you give the bird to settle outside with the wing like this before you wash it off?

    • @FrankMcLaughlinPigeons
      @FrankMcLaughlinPigeons  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      They should be okay after a week or so of going in and out.

    Do you do this to both wings or just one?

    • @FrankMcLaughlinPigeons
      @FrankMcLaughlinPigeons  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      One wing is best. If you do two wings the bird is balanced and can fly better.

    Love this tip! Are you able to do this with birds that have been loft trained somewhere else that you just planned on using as breeders?

    • @FrankMcLaughlinPigeons
      @FrankMcLaughlinPigeons  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You can certainly use this to settle pigeons. The big problem would be hawks so my suggestion would be to keep them in a settling cage and get them used to going in and out. Then put the gel on the wing and stay with them as they settle. Trained birds from another location have more difficulty settling to a new location.

    So could this be used on an old bird that has never flown from any loft?
