theyre too slick and fast to chase even if you had rocket engines on the police bikes
Hoggers are also a problem to the road, yet we do not see them being penalized frequently. Hogging leads to more people trying to overtake sometimes dangerously. Hoggin also leads to frustration, and frustration leads to dangerous reaction. If you guys in TP are really concern about road safety, do something. Don't just wayang wayang.
video to wayang only. i seen them like max of 5 times in my 15 years of driving. when i got hit and run by a car unto my bike, i had to wait 5 weeks to get the plate of the culprit who hit me via cross junction CCTV. thats really efficient work, thanks alot ah peeps.
At least you got the culprit.. i didnt even get.. despite informing them of the cameras.. it was a hit and run and i was informed they couldnt track the culprit... all wayang only...

I really dnt understand y people want to test their limits. Please dnt drink and drive. You get caught. You may be fined or jailed. After your incarceration is over, period. What about the victim and his or her family? Do you know the pain and anguish they have to face? I propose that sentencing of drunk drivers should include caning as well.

Good job SPF, I would like to suggest you do Sat morning "Cycling Operations". Lots of entitled and aggressive cyclist cycling side by side in 1 lane, traveling in groups and cycling in middle lanes.
Hot spots in include Bukit Timah (from Stevens road to KAP), Holland Road (in front of Dempsey). Suggest you stop them to educate them on the rules of cycling on the road or give warning as most do not seem to be considerate to the neighbourhood.

I hope they could step up enforcement around the clock. Also should make a video to educate the public on how they would respond to videos taken by motorists that captured traffic offences.

Someone made a dangerous manoeuvre cutting ahead of my vehicle in the presence of your colleague. All your colleague did was ride up to him, gesture to him, and let him go. You guys need to up your game. People are dying on the roads or get maimed unnecessarily because there is effectively no enforcement on our roads and the drivers all know this.

There won’t be any need for special operations night… if they are actually out there everyday. You can drive daily for months before seeing them once. The probability is so low - drivers don’t give a damn most and blatantly break laws.

You mean the occupation of Traffic Police still exist in Singapore? I thought this job is already history cos there are so many incidents of traffic violations taking place on this tuny Island every say, especially so those food delivery riders beating the red lights at traffic junstions like no body's business. I am out in the public at least 4/7 and I have not come across a single traffic police in a month.
Wayang wayang or they think they r omnipotent. For how many days, I haven't seen a single traffic police on the road, maybe busy making this TH-cam video.
If they r really truthful to keeping road users safe, why not pay ⅓ of the fines collected to sender of video which identifies perpetrator and results in conviction of serious road traffic offences.
Hey, government makes money too, cos traffic police can work from home and govt earns ⅔ of the fines collected, without even needing so many traffic police to patrol the roads.

I'm NSF 69th Intake, luv my "part-time" SPF role during my re-servist too.
Is TP understaffed? Hardly see them in the day when many motorists are speeding and driving like idiots. Ah yes.. the weather is too hot for road blocks. Learn what the Chinese do.. once tested alcohol positive, lock up the offender for 3-5 days whilst getting the case processed. You will see an immediate drop of drunken drivers!

Simi year liao.. power assist bicycle or tricycle r the scary 1.. now im seeing a 3-wheel cart with pillion on pavement without any sign of handicap but riding around punggol 308c at high speed without much sign to slow down. Those r early 20s ladies...
Some of the speed limit is ridiculously low. Eg kpe linking up to Tpe just before going up the flyover. It’s 50km/h. Come on be reasonable. My tortoise crawl faster than that

keeping the road safe includes enforcement of PMD, cyclist, jay-walking -- i see them happen everyday but nothing, absolutely nothing is done about them - you just choose to close one eye on such offenders who didnt put in time or money to learn about the traffic rules, yet these same group break the traffic rules every single day!

103 on those empty viaducts with no traffic and no cross-streets isn't actually that unsafe; the speed limit of 70 there is way too low. Seems like they're catching low-hanging fruit in that instance without much public benefit. I wish they'd prioritize offenses more likely to cause harm, like Mercedes drivers cutting in front of people.
