In this episode of #OnDuty, we followed SSSGT Nabil, a member of the Traffic Police’s Special Operations Team to get a glimpse into how Traffic Police keeps our roads safe.
Ride and drive safe officers, you guys risk your own lives to ensure the safety of others, pretty sure not everyone is compliant like those in this video.
These 2 TP officer conduct their job with respect and honour, didn't even shouted or disrespect the drivers or motorcyclist. These contributes to safe working environment too despite harsh traffic environment. I believe if the TP respect the road user, even the user knew he is wrong, he will willingly admit and pay the fines becos he had gained respect
Indeed! Salute em! but I hope its always like that! hahahah cuz on camera mah! ;) I had most.... all so yaya papaya. hahahaha scold like my father scold me! hahahaha but these two TP looks cool man! Nice nice!
More traffic police presence is really needed.. the lawlessness on our roads and expressway is just unbelievable. Speeding, recklessness, tailgating, illegal plates, road bullying, the list goes on. Commercial vehicles speeding and tailgating is a daily affair. Illegible registration plates especially of Malaysian motorbikes! More enforcement must be done. Do not just rely on traffic cameras and speed cameras, once you pass the speed cams, the speeding starts.
the good thing about the Traffic Police in Singapore is that they go BY THE BOOK. if youre wrong then youre wrong. They dont beat around the bush to find your faults.
Great video. More could be done to step up enforcement efforts on commercial vehicles that tend to hog up the second lanes on expressways. It would make a real difference for road users.
I am very impressed by the traffic police with their authority uniform to keep Singapore road safe.Amen My gifted son sent by the Lord Jesus said to me TP must be firmed at all times. Respect to all traffic police. Amen
Too many people make up their own laws to think driving at 90 on lane 1 is road hogging - it is not. It is the speed limit. Lane 1 is not a reserved speeding lane.
@@eatdriveplay by road hogger, I am referring to those driving at 70-80km ON THE FIRST LANE. These selfish pricks are exactly what's causing congestion. Check out "Phantom traffic Jam" and you'll realise why our expressways are almost congested 90% of the time.
The TP should provide information on how publicly captured videos of offences should be handled ? Maybe can make a video to educate the masses on this. Frequently i saw people saying to submit videos to TP. Maybe TP can address this and explain the kind of actions that would be taken
Employ and deploy a few dozen more of them and you'll see how our roads will finally be safer and have lesser accidents, reckless driving and also possibly syndicates who stage accidents for fraudulent insurance claims. So few TPs on our roads now, you drive whole year maybe only see them twice on our roads
Only target cars, not lorries, buses, van, pickup driven by FW. Why?????? Their speed limit is 60 or 70, they drive 90 regularly. Special treatment for them?
Must thank TP for keeping our roads safe. But wah the guy at 4:21 although he is wrong by speeding above 90 but a bit unlucky 112 on lane 1 also kana caught. A bit hard to constantly stay at 90, sometimes will go a bit towards 100 if accidentally step slightly harder especially on the expressway hard to constantly monitor the speed. Hopefully that guy got a warning letter rather than 6 points and $200 fine.
Quality job yes …. But no quantity leh. Hardly see police on the roads. If see also they don’t seem to notice the problems around them. Other that that I see them at makan places tabao food lah.
Why vans always drive on the second lane and speeding at 80+km/h instead of 70km/h? Blocking road users like cars which is lower than van causing poor visibility to the road. Why tp don’t ask them to keep to the 3rd left most lame?
Today situation is getting worst as seldom seem to see TP or LTA officers on patrol The good vehicles are using lane 1 and 2 and sometimes lane 1-3 lane speeding dangerously Something is not right at all and been every year affair not seeing their presence
*Singapore is a country for little boys* - In Malaysia super bikers can do 300km++ and the cops will not bother you if you do it safely and don't endanger others. There is a notion if you can work hard for your money and to afford a super-bike you would not be speeding aimlessly in the city to lose what you have worked so hard for. You have to be smart. But sadly Singapore has a really tiny road network cant really be a biker there. Malaysian Highway Police uses Honda St1300 that has its restrictions removed

Wish they’d at least give warnings or catch road hoggers too 😂

Lane 1 is for overtaking..learn highway code
@@ariffhaiqal8524 try overtaking when the vehicle in front is going at 70-80 bro
@@ariffhaiqal8524 it does not mean it is kept clear for no-speed-limit ‘overtaking’. When at the speed limit, that’s not call hogging.
Respect to SPF 😎
Can we get more of such videos
Every time I see those van driving on lane 1 expressway. But I don’t see them getting caught.

Unless a police report is made, posting on social media doesn't mean the culprit will be prosecuted I believe. Maybe the MHA can enlighten us.

All road users know that, that is why most are not worried about getting caught.
SBS also speeding because they said got a time table to follow!!!

Realise majority of chinese don’t like to ride bike 🤷♂️
Nothing but harassment....
Traffic police also broke the law by speeding while he chased another driver. Im pretty sure they are not above the law right.
Y not ban them for driving/riding for a year.. or revoke them.. teaching them HOW to drive/rider safely 😂😂😂

Black bikes, black clothing and helmets! Not exactly the safest colour to be seen and 'safe' on the road.
As always. They have so much free time to do all these bs
