As everyone here says...THIS was my growing up Christmas music every year from being little in the late sixties. It is beautiful, natural sounding and melodic…not some jazzed up, sassy, finger snapping arrangement. Truly evokes the magic. TY.

There was love, hope and faith in the holidays and especially family gatherings where these songs were sung everywhere. This music brings back so many memories that will live in my heart forever. This Christmas album has been a staple in our family. My parents used to have the album and we listened to it constantly every year in the seventies. Probably late sixties as I was born in 62. As an adult, prior to the computer age I bought two CDs of this so as not to lose my original, that's how serious this album is to me. And then I copied it to my hard drive, made a copy of the original CD to listen in my car. It's really nice to see that it has made its way to TH-cam. Merry Christmas, Everyone!

I was born in 1970 and this was played several times at Christmas. I layed under the tree with the Sears Wishbook while this was on. Also the Little Drummer Boy and Frosty The Snowman albums.

My teachers in elementary school (1962-66) played Ray Conniff's Christmas albums on those turntables that schools had; the one in a snap suitcase and the top was taken off and the speaker was built into it. Anyone remember those? These songs are played in my house every Christmas and 'on the road' when driving somewhere for Christmas. They are timeless, and never cease to take me back to elementary school and that time of year when we made wreaths out of IBM computer cards and spray painted them and decorated them with glitter. Great memories...a season driven out of schools by atheists and godless people.
My dad used to have 2 CDs of Ray Conniff albums when i was a kid.. and as i grow i started to love to listen and now i think their Christmas carols are one of the best ever , even in these modern times❤️

Christmas in the 1960s at Grandmas House. So many happy memories and Ray Conniff on the radiogram - my grandparents, my aunt, my dad all sitting around the table pulling crackers and so much laughter. Bittersweet memories as they’re all gone and all that’s left are sweet memories of childhood.
Listening to this album was great. Played while baking Christmas cookies and fudge. Also had to be played when setting up and decorating the Christmas tree 🎄. Now when I listen to I miss my mom and dad
For me, the Christmas season only starts once I play one of the Ray Conniff Christmas songs albums. For an additional nostalgic boost, I mostly play the older ones. I was 14 when this album was published.
I've been searching for this online because my brother now has both mine and my late mother's original albums , but I no longer have a record player and only a smartphone to save it on under christmas music so that I can listen to it again. I was 9 years old it first came out, and my favorite song on the album is Christmas Bride. My oldest sister though is the one who got that wish the next year, and then I too finally got my wish in 1972. So we BOTH ended up becoming a Christmas Bride. Sunflower, thank you for making this old woman, whose been in lockdown now here in SoCal in an assisted living facility, have a very happy Holiday Season once again. Reminds me of the happy times we had in the Philippines celebrating Christmas. We used to have a small family bakery and we all help slicing tasty bread while listening to Ray Corniff songs. In a remote town like ours , during the 60’s and 70’s , tasty bread or “ pan Amerikano “ as we call it , was something special to serve on holidays only . People lined up buying Pan Amerikano and special Ensaymada with cheese ! Oh how I miss those simple Christmas memories of my younger years ♥️

My parents had this album before i was born. We listened to it every Christmas on reel to reel then in vinyl then on CD. I have 3 different Ray Conniff christmas cds and still my favorite. I am 44 years old. This will be my favorite until they day I die.

My father was a recording engineer with Columbia and worked with Mr. Conniff. This was recorded at their iconic 30th St. studio, which was originally an old church!!
This is for me one of the best Christmas albums that Ray Conniff has ever released. I like to play it at home every Christmas and I really enjoy listening to it for hours due to the lyrics and the rythm of each song.

This collection of music takes me back to my childhood in the early 70's. My mother played this album over and over through the Holidays and it was my absolute favorite. I remember getting "caught" listening to this in the summer of 1975 and my mother asked my why I would listen to Christmas music in the summer. So many happy memories connected to this music.

This Christmas record was 1 of 4 that got continuous play during Christmas time in the 60s on my father's HiFi. I purchased this record on cd years ago, so it still gets continuous play. This record puts me right back in the living room of that 60s house. Merry Christmas, everyone.

I can still see and feel that little boy pulling out a dining room chair, sitting next to the big stereo case with the lid flipped open. Listening to each song, holding the record album in my hands, just staring at the picture.
I thank my mother for instilling in me the beauty, pure joy and magic of Christmas.
I listen to this album every year. And all those precious Christmas memories that flood my heart, I hold very, very dear inside of me.
I look forward to spending it with my partner & mother again for this holiday season.

Christmas in the 1960s at Grandmas House. So many happy memories and Ray Conniff on the radiogram - my grandparents, my aunt, my dad all sitting around the table pulling crackers and so much laughter. Bittersweet memories as they’re all gone and all that’s left are sweet memories of childhood.
Listening to this album was great. Played while baking Christmas cookies and fudge. Also had to be played when setting up and decorating the Christmas tree 🎄. Now when I listen to I miss my mom and dad

For me, the Christmas season only starts once I play one of the Ray Conniff Christmas songs albums. For an additional nostalgic boost, I mostly play the older ones. I was 14 when this album was published.
I've been searching for this online because my brother now has both mine and my late mother's original albums , but I no longer have a record player and only a smartphone to save it on under christmas music so that I can listen to it again. I was 9 years old it first came out, and my favorite song on the album is Christmas Bride. My oldest sister though is the one who got that wish the next year, and then I too finally got my wish in 1972. So we BOTH ended up becoming a Christmas Bride.

Reminds me of the happy times we had in the Philippines celebrating Christmas. We used to have a small family bakery and we all help slicing tasty bread while listening to Ray Corniff songs. In a remote town like ours , during the 60’s and 70’s , tasty bread or “ pan Amerikano “ as we call it , was something special to serve on holidays only . People lined up buying Pan Amerikano and special Ensaymada with cheese ! Oh how I miss those simple Christmas memories of my younger years ♥️

I'm 70 & Ray Conniff has given me many hours of listening pleasure. I've purchased the recordings in 331/3 l.p albums, open reel pre-recorded tapes, & now on CDs. Ray Conniff Lives!
My parents had this album before i was born. We listened to it every Christmas on reel to reel then in vinyl then on CD. I have 3 different Ray Conniff christmas cds and still my favorite. I am 44 years old. This will be my favorite until they day I die.
Ray's best sounding recording is here we come a caroling. It is smoother with less distortion on climaxes than all previous albums.

I can remember this album when I was young during Christmas, Rey Conniff is the best for me, I love the songs of Rey Conniff.
My father was a recording engineer with Columbia and worked with Mr. Conniff. This was recorded at their iconic 30th St. studio, which was originally an old church!!

This is for me one of the best Christmas albums that Ray Conniff has ever released. I like to play it at home every Christmas and I really enjoy listening to it for hours due to the lyrics and the rythm of each song.

This collection of music takes me back to my childhood in the early 70's. My mother played this album over and over through the Holidays and it was my absolute favorite. I remember getting "caught" listening to this in the summer of 1975 and my mother asked my why I would listen to Christmas music in the summer. So many happy memories connected to this music.
