      I watched quite a few and thought I would start at beginning. Did I see this correctly, was "Vinnie" a 9 year old class A?? It was in 2018 and I thought I saw 2009 on description of rig. Sure would be nice to hear $$ how much you purchased/sold Vinnie for. How much was the 2 y.o. airstream you purchased. Not trying to offend just trying to get educated. LOVE the videos!!

    Wasn't it hard and stressful to leave that house behind, the known and comfortable environment, driving off into a totally new and uncertain ...? Would be great to see a video from you two with your perspective now after 5 years, about your decision and the process as well as what you would do different, etc. I am enjoying your videos and travels in the Class B !

    • @LivinRVision
      @LivinRVision  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Absolutely. It was stressful not knowing how it will turn out, much like anything in life…like changing jobs and wondering if it will be better or worse.
      But that’s the beauty of taking a leap of faith and feeling good that you at least gave yourself the chance to try it OR end up loving it and feeling so grateful like we do. The sites we have seen alone has made it all worthwhile…places we know we would otherwise never have seen. It brings you closer to God.
      Then you have the friendships you make along the way, it’s so much different than a “normal” neighborhood. Even though we work so much, we are still able to feel very blessed for these reasons alone, not to mention the joy the videos seem to bring to others.
      Also knowing that others have already been living this way and enjoying the lifestyle helps. Most situations we all worry about are usually not near as bad as we originally think…then we realize we worried about nothing. We all tend to stress about the unknown, which is usually the Achilles heel from doing what we would like/love to do, but too afraid to do it.
      Anytime there is something you would love to do, Michelle and I believe it’s best to do it so you don’t live life later wishing you did. You can always go back to the “normal” life. Living with regrets takes a toll on your mind and health. Set yourself free and do what YOU really want to do. 🧡😊🤓

      @@LivinRVision , thank you for sharing all of your thoughts and experiences that brought you two to where you are today! You are absolutely correct about worrying and I have to say hubby and I also have taken plunges in our lifetime and all turned out well - not quite as adventurous as you two but all the more I enjoy watching what you share of your life's journey! We will not be full-timers, just occasional travelers but I am so looking forward to being spontaneous , leave for a day or for a few weeks in a Class B ! It will be a little while before we can pull it off but, we also don't want to have any REGERTS ( ole Snickers commercial, LOL)! May the Lord bless you and keep you!

I want to learn as much as I can in the process of looking for and deciding on what best RV might be right for us. I'm loving all the options you are presenting. Lewisville is close to us but south of Ft Worth are a TON of RV sales floors just waiting to suck us in. Looks like this is gonna be a big task for us. *sigh* All tips and pointers are most welcome! All aboard!!!!! :)

    • @LivinRVision
      @LivinRVision  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Welcome! 😊🤓 We remember the are you are talking about south of Fort Worth. It’s tough deciding on the “right” rig, because there are so many pros and cons to each. You really need to decide on which floor plan works best for you from the most reliable brands out there and see how it works for you. If you plan to get something that requires you to pull a tow vehicle...we’d strongly suggest having a tow vehicle that you do not have to use a dolly. They can be a real pain in multiple ways. That’s one thing that most everyone will agree with. Everything else...just do your research and find what you like best. 👍🏻😊🤓

    Me too. Had to see where you originated from after seeing annual costs vlog.
    It does take great courage to sell (most) all your stuff and move into an RV.
    Seems like many folks are very concerned with monthly costs, and they are trying to beat sticks n bricks costs.
    I believe one cannot escape the financial realities somewhere around $800-1000 per month, not including medical insurance or medical expenses.

    • @LivinRVision
      @LivinRVision  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Some people do but we definitely were not and are not trying to beat the cost of living in a stick n bricks. It’s very easy to make assumptions though. We chose this lifestyle to get out and enjoy life while we are still healthy and find a way to enjoy life while still working, simply because it’s a much better work environment feeling like you are on vacation even while working. We are now able to be in different places on weekends and some nights after work which helps keep our spirits high. The RV community is also another big perk. 👍🏻

    We just traded our 2017 Entegra Cornerstone after 2 years for a 2018 King Aire at NIRVC in August. We have made a lot of friends at NIRVC , Lewisville and NIRVC ,Lewiston in Georgia and at AIM's. We travel maybe 6 month's a year.. as for the rest of the year we have a home base in Southwest Louisiana where we have several rental homes where we manage the "property managers"so to speak. We are leaving in March for the North Carolina and surrounding areas in order to find a heat escape home base for the times between early summer , summer, and fall.. We wish you the best as it may take a while to learn to adjust as the shoe starts to fit! We are "JurstBurninDiesel on facebook and hope to meet you on the road as well as help with questions. Hi guys! Michelle was terrified and I was excited. That pretty much sums it up. 😂 It is pretty normal to feel scared to sell your house and things and go full time in an RV, but Michelle soon realized there was nothing to be scared about. The way of life is really pretty simple.

    I've never seen such a complete RV center like this before. Seems like they have they act together !!!

      Sounds like you work for them, no? 😂🤣😉 A very complete RV center BUT like most places, in our experience we found that there were a few “bad apples.” It’s very hard to find true honesty at a dealership.

    I recently found your channel and have gone back through many of your videos. I have a question that I hope you Brian will not mind answering. Michelle is still working and you are now full time TH-cam video production. I'm just wondering what you used to do for a living back in Iowa. I haven't picked that information from any of the videos. I understand if you wish not to share.
    Respectfully, Kevin

      Hi Kevin, no problem. I actually have mentioned this before in I think maybe a couple videos so maybe you hadn’t watched the videos all the way through. Shame shame shame! 😉 🤪
      For the last 10 years prior to us going full time, I worked 2 jobs, one in Real Estate and the other as a Project Specialist in the field of Disaster Recovery. However, I have a background in other fields as well like construction.

      So far we are really liking it. There are SO many different types of memberships that you can get with different benefits/advantages/disadvantages. We'll do an update/video sometime about it once we get more experience with it and all the places to stay throughout the country. :)

    Brian, What did you do for a livivg before you hit the road? Also, were you RVers before you went full time?

      I worked part time with FEMA on disasters estimating damages and writing project worksheets on roads, bridges, (infrastructure) non-profits, universities etc…and part time at home as a realtor and doing appraisals. I’ve worked a few jobs over the years depending on the market with my real estate license.
      We had never owned or even rented and RV before we went full time, we literally jumped in head first and thankfully it all went pretty smooth.

      Your videos have always been very nicely produced so i thought you might have had some type of media in your back ground. Both my wife and i really enjoy your editing. You make great travel videos that really draw us in and give really good info on the areas you visit. I am 64, semi-retired, still work part-time in healthcare. She is 57, full-time in banking. We really want to to travel much more. I admire your faith to make the jump to full-time without ever having RVed before. We are RVers, and use a travel trailer. I keep hinting, but there is that trepidation to make life change of that magnitude. We will see. Until then, we will live vicariously through your videos. Have a great day and coming week.@LivinRVision
