Disgusting how they allow non compliant food places multiple chances whilst already failing food safety practices. These places should be shut down until they can prove they are able to serve, prepare and store food safely.

I also thought that Jay's art was very interesting... perhaps they could help him by putting it somewhere safe and welcome and help him live with the community. He clearly needs support and help and treating him like this and using these methods will only antagonise him. Mental health is not entertainment.

The Pest Control guy is not doing a thorough job. Just by setting baits and leaving poison you are not going to solve a rat issue, just collect money! I agree with you. Jay's art really interesting... but some where there is a mental health issue.” Everyone has a mental health issue “ and he should get some help him by putting it somewhere safe. And have a place to display his art. Within the community in which he lives. He clearly needs help and support. In somehow creating his art in a place where everyone can view and appreciate his personal and extremely unusual work of art. And I definitely agree that. Mental health is not entertainment.

My daughter in law had three pet rats and they were the sweetest things. I realize the ones they are dealing with are not pets. The guy with the illegal barge proves what is one man’s trash is another’s treasure. Why would people illegally dump stuff, there are cameras everywhere today. Dumb, dumb dumb!

@@deniseshephard3347 That's like us living to 320. Good going. Had six so far, none of them made it that far but all died of natural causes. Rats are very prone to respiratory conditions which catch up to them once their bodies' natural resistance fails with age. What's the trick I'm missing?

Because people need to use the path that his shit was blocking.. regardless of whether people liked it or not if one of his illegal sculptures would have fallen on an old person or young kid it could seriously injure them. I've seen it happen under Chiswick flyover in West London 😞

My guess is that the business was a front for something else. Seems like they didn't have much desire to improve their business and were very quick to sell it off. All those weird candy shops in London turned out to be fronts for money laundering so maybe it was like that? He could have just sold it to one of his associates in whatever business he was involved in.

Going to prison for fly tipping is daft. Especially compared with some other offences and their punishments... I much prefer Danno's idea of making them clear up. A hefty fine and a year's community service of clearing up the streets. Much better than free everything in prison!

Local councils need to take some of the blame, the rules to go to an official tip can be crazy! even putting our bins out ! EG not supposed to put bins out Before 19:30pm! Ridiculous. The rules around re-cycling also mad, my refuse sacks are not "secure" anyone can and have put stuff into my bags, also plastic bag does not take all plastic! Also very quick to leave ur bags behind but make a real mess when collecting, I have had several runs in with the council!

Where I live theyve made it difficult to legally dumb rubbish so the fly tipping issue has just gone overboard. Also they've closed one of the big dumps which haven't helped.

dont understand why people who live in the area dont confront these fly tippers when dumping it near where they live i did when someone tried dumping a mattress around the corner where i lived literally told him straight i got his licence plate and hes not dumping it there it also drawn alot of attention the other neighbours took notice and took my side. 100 percent he dumped it somewhere else but it wasnt where i lived once one thing is dumped there then other people will start dumping stuff there then your having to look at that mess everytime you leave your house your children going out to play and seeing it never be afraid of standing up to people specially when your doing the right thing and respecting the place you live its no good saying its the councils job that tip will be left there for weeks before its even cleaned up do you really want to live by a garbage site some of you pay a lot of money to make your homes nice an english mans home is his castle no good having a nice home when your living in rat infested street.

..cardiff council are sending 200 pound fines out to people and even if the so called evidence is wrong and it's a mistake you cannot challenge it,people have put their rubbish out in the street to be collected and dogs ha e ripped the bags up and rubbish then has all been put together in a new bag and the rubbish hasnt been taken away by the rubbish men for a 3rd time and it's gone all over the street and cardiff council have come along and said ahh evidence like as if they are detectives but their are flawed in their detective work and people are being told to cough up 200 pound or go to prison, cardiff council are nazis

Does Cardiff not have a wastes disposal place (Tip). Here in Australia 🇦🇺 we don’t have fly tipping as you can take your rubbish to the tip and some states have bi yearly pick ups from your house.

@@michaelgeorge5605 i had an old 3 piece suite to dispose of as i had new one arriving, it cost £30 for council to take away which wasn't too bad but can see why some people dump stuff, I'm not condoning it but that's why stuff is often fly tipped, i took some stuff to my local tip but wasn't allowed in as i wasn't registered, never realised you had to be so, why can't they just let people dispose of stuff without all these 'rules'

Pure Ignorance
The council is really insensitive when it comes to Jay. I understand there's some risk to his exhibition, but instead of just scrapping his life and work and antagonising/alienating him further, you could be helping him do his art in a way that complies with your specifications. He is actively helping to reuse waste that will only see a landfill. If given a proper platform, the art could be sold to fund his life instead of just continually being sent into a landfill by the hamfisted council.
