- A team of three extreme cleaners are called in to clear a one bedroom flat in North London.
The property has mounds of waste and is crawling with fleas. Worst of all, the bathtub is FULL of cat poo.
Meanwhile, the Sheriff of Grimsby, enforcement officer John, tries to remove a huge ship container from a local car park whilst battling the youths on the estate. Also, Wolverhampton hero, Litter-Picker Lew is ending his shift with a nightmare and National Trust specialist cleaner Caroline gives a master class in removing bookworms that prey on the antique books in Stourhead Dorset.

Loyalte Dmv my job is to clean up the shit that people leave behind, they destroy houses, houses that we make nice again for other families. Some of the stuff we have to deal with is really not nice at all.
I don't care how clean they got that bath. I wouldn't want to lay down in it.
I understand how you feel. No matter how clean it looks, job #1 when you move into new-to-you accomodations is to clean AND disinfect any hard surface your body will come in contact with. Tub, toilet, etc.

@Jamie McCarthy Yeah, pure genius. Who'd have thought of doing that? Normally I'd just jump straight in, turning a blind eye to any stray hairs or stains the previous occupants may have left behind. Never crossed my mind to clean it first. Brilliant.

There should be a blacklist for people like this. Honestly, imagine renting your old family house and it ending up like this.

I'm not sure that's a great solution tbh. Everyone needs *somewhere* to live, and in cases where it gets as bad as this you can only assume there must have been quite severe mental health challenges.

I always think of the Deacon Blue song ‘Dignity’ about a council worker who cleans the streets and is saving up to buy a dinghy when he retires, called Dignity and he plans to sail around the coast. It’s a brilliant song about the dignity of work no matter how apparently lowly.

I just wonder... Why they let flats get to such state? A bathroom like this would obviously stink even outside the flat. Why nobody called earlier to report the smell?
Maybe someone did call to complain about the smell. But I know from personal experience that the process to get someone evicted can sometimes be pretty long and arduous. Obviously it varies from area to area, but laws on tenancy and eviction are often heavily weighted in favour of the tenant.
It may not smell due to insulation, air circulation/drafts from other flats in multiple occupancy buildings are usually kept to a minimum (fire safety). This is why dead people are sometimes only discovered when their rent stops.
I worked for a property management company in California. There was a yearly inspection of all properties. It was a spelled out in the lease.
The complaint system is torturously slow. They probably did & it took this long to get it sorted.
in Australia the owner would walk in and drag the tenant out by there ears and belt the piss out of them hahah

We have three cats. They are indoor cats. We have five litter boxes. As soon as they poop, we scoop. There’s just no need for this
What in the world is an indoor cat? - do you really live somewhere that your cats can't even go outside? And you have 3 of them... To me that sounds terribly sad for said cats, they should not be cooped up their entire life. - but well done for not storing the cat shit in your bathtub.
My cat's I have 3 I don't let them out I live on a busy road one is 20 now but their trays clean as anything some people are scumbags

Cats are excellent hunters and kill the native wildlife, like rosellas, possums, little marsupials and bush turkeys (in this area). Cats aren't native to Australia. Secondly, cats who live indoors, on average, live longer than outdoor cats because they don't get run over, don't get into fights with other cats, where they can get injured. If I was to let my cat out, she'd killed the animals she happily chirps at from the window, would roam and fight over territory, annoying neighbours, and she'd run on the road. I adopted her 14 years ago as a rescue, and she's been my shadow ever since. All she wants is a human, food, clean litter and a sunny window sill.
@@dichallis4135 I understand the reasons for not wanting to let your cat outside and it appears more common than I initially thought for people to have cats that never go outside but it just doesn't seem right to me. I'm not saying your cat is not totally loved and happy, as I'm sure it is, and it is probably the case that it can't miss what it's never experienced, however like you said yourself, cats are natural hunters, they are nocturnal creatures that like to be out exploring at night and having their own adventures - I cannot accept it as anything other than selfish to keep an animal and to take that away from them. I absolutely love cats, I'm the biggest cat person and always have been - I don't have a cat at the moment even though I would so love to, because I live in a flat in the city centre, and if I got one it would be for selfish reasons, so that I could have a companion but at the cost of that cats freedom... Isn't it the same as having a dog but never taking it out for walks? ...Anyway rant over.

Theres needs to be a big culture change made in the UK. I lived in Finland for a few years and no one drops litter there. If people cared more and felt responsible about their environment, it would be a far nicer country to live in.

Bless my cat. He is a year old, and I stopped bothering with a litter tray a month ago. He comes in at night to be shut in. He never poos or wees inside. Just like our dog. On a very rare occasion, he tells me when he needs to go out during the night. I'm so lucky.

I was a property manager & bed bugs can be big & fat, not little things. And they move, I had one apartment on the lower floor & on the outside, you could see a trail, like ants heading for the second floor. We had to tent the building. Finding them in a group, they are a moving blob...creepy and freaky...I was in that apartment 3 steps in and ran out in 1 second flat...lol.

The last fragment showing people will chuck all their rubbish on the street, and the kids following their example of the adults is really infuriating and heartbreaking. We should teach our kids to throw trash in the bin and how to recycle, and the importance of it.

Containers like this one are all over the country, getting filled with all sorts of "acquisitions, over the course of many months a lot of it stolen.. The containers are then collected, sent abroad un-searched, to the immigrants former home country, met there by them, and the "goodies" sold on or apportioned out to relatives!! A lot contain a seriously expensive stolen vehicle, surrounded by a ton of paraphernalia end then sent to some cesspit the owner formerly came from!
Makes me wonder about the apartments I've rented over the years.. were they ever in this condition before I moved in?? Ewwww!

I’d say whoever lived there suffered greatly from depression and alcoholism. That kind of outcome can’t be just down to laziness. There’s more going on, in the same way that if you dig into it, morbidly obese people who have a food addiction are not that big just because they like food. It’s very sad
