Trying To Win a Mazda RX7! | Tips On How To Enter Raffles | Dream Car Giveaways | Car Competitions

Supercar giveaways and car raffles in general can be some of the most fun and exciting ways of engaging with high stakes competitions, and of course I've done a couple of raffles myself in the past, both for a brand new PS5 and my own 1953 MV Agusta motorcycle, and may well do more in future.
But something I've noticed which had me thinking, was 'why do people enjoy watching casino streams so much?' And I think I know why: You get to have fun with the thrill of the chase, the ups and downs and hoping for that elusive victory - but crucially without risking any of your own money in doing so. Its a perfect recipe for entertainment, and one which TV game shows have been thriving on for years.
So with that in mind, I thought why not try out the idea of me doing just that for you folks, but for something which appeals to our interests here on the channel far more - cars! And even vehicles in general should this become a more regular series. A series where you can enjoy some of the fun of the potential win, and checking out cool cars, but again without risking any of your own cash to do so.
Now if I do future episodes like this, they will almost certainly be far shorter and quicker to watch, I just wanted to also get into some advice/tips and tricks on how to be smart when entering competitions like this, so that you can make the most of your money and chances, while keeping realistic expectations and avoiding the excessive cash wasting side of becoming addicted to competitions.

I used to do matched betting before every man and his dog knew/killed it off. In my experience the best approach to have is having ZERO expectation. All my big hits with payouts 25000/1 or more came when I least expected. I play these games and genuinely think DCG are the best in terms of sourcing and prepping the cars but I only ever buy one ticket and always with no expectation. Rev Comps is Ok but tickets are quite expensive and Aspire Comps also has some good stuff. I avoid BOTB as they're spot the ball competition is a farce based on a panel of judges as opposed the actual result and 7 Days performance buy nice cars but they're often high mileage and the cars often look like they've been run through a Tesco car wash before the photos were taken. Even if I won a £100k Ferrari I'd run/maintain it for a year then sell it at a slight loss as cash equivalent is usually slightly less than car is worth. I currently run a Maserati 4200 on minimum wage so no fear of the odd bit of maintenance on an exotic car as specialist labour rates are often cheaper than say a main run of the mill dealer.

Yeah the Ferrari I entered last year was with Rev Comps, bit expensive like you said. Its a pity with BOTB using spot the ball because their vehicle selection and prices are far stronger

Please make sure you understand how to maintain the Wankel engine. Most people who buy these cars don't, fuck up, and then they bitch about how unreliable the engine is. Then they swap in a small block V8 and put in stupid camber.
