@Rijad Emrulai You feel bad for falling him from throne? Then what about this: After he was overthrown, in 6 years, the empire lost 2.5 million soldiers in war and civilians too and maybe more than 3 million muslim people had to escape from Balkans en Caucausius.. Enlighten your children so they don't make the same mistakes. And also, that they know, that whenever an European country or an Israeli minister talk about democracy and the rights of man etc, that they are planning a much worser scenario for Muslims ;)

Rijad Emrulai 100% agreed with you as a Albanian myself. This magnificent Sultan actually cared and gave rights for the non-Turks in the empire thus extending the life of it. The moment he was overthrown vast amounts of land were lost , beginning with Bulgaria.
The group that took over called Xhon Turku (in Albanian) and ittihat ve terraki (in Turkish) are literally filth . They introduced rubbish laws that were only positive towards the Turks in the empire . There ideology was to Turkify the empire and so the objective became nationalism instead of Islam.
They made us arnavuts very angry towards their 4 year rule . I am happy we split from those cowards who dethroned our rightful sultan.
But even after the Young Turks oppression towards us ,we still got together and rushed to the aide of the ottomans at Canakale . And we came out victorious because we done it for our faith not our nationalism.
All of what our forefathers fought for I.e Islam and the empire was undone at the birth of the Turkish republic because everything we stood for was erased and replaced.
      And the rest is history...

You forget to say: They brought Abdul Hamid to Selanik (Thessaloniki), where he lived in exile, in the house of a Jew.. This shame is enough for me as a Turk.. Can you imagine? He was standing totally against Zionism and Imperialism. He was a real muslim. They imprisonned him in Selanik, where he saw the empire being destroyed and he couldn't do something.. Let us think: you are a Sultan of almost all the arabic countries, anatolia, greece, bulgary, Bosnia. They try to bribe lands from you, they say: we will pay all of your countries depths, give you the latest technology etc etc etc.. You reject these things with words like: a land that is taken with blood, cannot be given for money. I think he used some harsh words too, because he thinks: I defend the muslim countries.
And then, they overthrow you but don't kill you. Instead, you have to live in the house of a Jew. The people who where there to overthrow you, I mean people working for the goverment, founded or are among the founders of Israel.. All the muslim nations at his time said: he is a dictator etc etc.. Even some Arabs (there were A LOT OF Arabs who still fought for the Sultan and the Empire) foughted against him. Look at the situation of that muslim countries now.. We muslims deserve this. Because we didn't do anything to save these people or at least defending them.. I am Turkish, but I love Tarik Bin Ziyad. I love Imam Shamil, I love every being who worked for the cause of Islam. I am not a nationalist, I am a Muslim. People (muslims) who don't like Abdul Hamid, CHECK YOUR SOURCES AND DON'T READ THE HISTORY WHO IS WRITTEN BY THE ENEMIES OF THIS MAN!!!

My personal oppinion if you are interested.
Im not a Turk or neither live there ,a Turk can explain it better but from a neutral point of view i don't understand the logic of forbiding people to speak against a historicall figure and still proclaiming that he was a great leader and the man who brought democracy eve though he was an authoritarian and ruled in a single party system.
But after all maybe he did what he needed to do just to save the day.
surrelly Allah knows the truth, we can only make inferences from his acts .

And he who introduced some evil practice in Islam which had been followed subsequently (by others), he would be required to bear the burden like that of one who followed this (evil practice) without their's being diminished in any respect.” So everytime someone listens to it because you helped him to, the burden and bad deeds are given to you as well. Harris S no he's talking shit... Ataturk is well respected because of his feats, he hasn't got nothing to do with religion. The Ottoman empire was already finished before anyone knew who Mustafa Kemal was. He was just a military man back then who held Galipoli against the British and the Anzacs.
If it wasn't for Mustafa Kemal the Christian European nations would've divided up Turkey and today most likely there wouldn't be any Muslims living in Anatolia. It was Mustafa Kemal who gathered the broken Turkish resistance and armed the peasants to fight against 4 different Christian armies who were too busy drawing maps of who was taking what. It was him who defeated every single one of those armies and retook majority Muslim lands. If it wasn't for his leadership there wouldn't be a nation of 80 million Muslims today covering Anatolia.
And European culture? Giving women rights is European culture? Didn't our Prophet PBUH demand us to empower and liberate our women?
Is increasing the literacy rate throughout the country by introducing an easier latin alphabet that was more compatible with the Turkish language than the Arabic alphabet a bad thing? Nothing to do with European culture. Literacy rates were at 20% during the Arabic alphabet period and it increased rapidly once Ataturk made the change. More people were able to read and understand the Quran for the greatness it is.
If you are a Turk you have to thank Ataturk for the existence of such a nation.
If you are a Muslim you have to thank Ataturk for the existence of 80,000,000+ Muslims living in harmony today.
Sultan Hamid would've approved of Ataturk.

In order to preserve the tranquility of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), the Medina Train Station was constructed approximately 2 kilometers away from the Dome of the Hadra. Additionally, all the railway tracks in Medina were covered with felt to ensure that there would be no noise when the wagons passed over them. During the construction of the Hejaz Railway, when they approached within 20 kilometers of Medina, felt was laid on the rails all the way to the center of Medina to prevent any disturbance from the sounds made by the passing trains.
