Then they start again and established The Emirate of Nejd, which was the second Saudi state 1824-1891. The current Saudi Arabia is the Third Saudi State established by King Abdulaziz Ibn Saud.

Also, Abdullah's mum is English, and Hussein probably considered the Brits would be willing to uphold the future regime more readily, with this connection. By the way, the other Crown Prince (for a time) was Hamzah, whose mother is American. For similar reasons, I assume, Hamzah was given his position so that America would also uphold the future regime.

      That's impossible. If your going by the argead dynasty they died out beyond trace. If your going by the antigonids they became private citizens in the roman empire so no one knows their descendents. If your reaching even more and are going by the ptolomies they did have descendents in the Roman client states but their claimed descendents are mostly baselss, and difficult to trace.

    • @Swoost
      @Swoost 4 ปีที่แล้ว +30

      We can’t really trace descendants back that far I’m not sure if there’s even a single example of someone knowing their ancestor from 2000+ years ago. In fact it’s so long ago that if someone from back the had descendants alive today there’s a good chance there’s hundreds of millions of them lol

      Short answer: Count Maximilian von Götzen-Iturbide, a hungarian-born man currently living in australia. The heir apparent is his elder son Count Ferdinand.
      Long answer:
      - The first emperor of mexico was elected "constitutional emperor" after having run the country for almost a year after the war of independence from spain. He was a general in the war and acted as regent before officially being crowned emperor.
      - The first empire fell during his time, so there was no other emperor. His son, however, served in a republican capacity and was ambassador to both the US and the UK for the united states of mexico.
      - The second empire after intervention from european powers was led by Maximiliano I, son of Archduke Franz Karl of austria. Augustín II (the above mentioned son of Augustín I, the only emperor of the first empire) officially surrendered his claim to Maximiliano I, so he became the "legitimate" emperor.
      - The second empire then also falls rather quickly and he is decapitated without having fathered any heirs.
      - The current claim to the throne therefor comes from a grandson of Augustín I (the son of Augustín II's younger brother Ángel), called ... Augustín III. Creative, I know :) He was also an adopted son of Maximiliano I to further consolidate the claim on both the first and second empire.
      - Augustín III had no children, so the pretender title goes to his niece Maria I (his younger brother Salvador was already dead and had no sons) and then to her grandson Maximiliano II, skipping her daughters for reasons unkown to me.
      - Maximiliano II goes by the name "Count Maximilian Gustav Albrecht Richard Augustin von Götzen-Iturbide", because on top of the mexican lineage from his grandmother, he's also the male line heir to the Count von Götzen title.

    The root of the house of Saud go back to 1446 when Mane'e bin Rabea'a Almeridi established Aldary'a the old capital city for saudi arabia (مانع بن ربيعة المريدي),
    Later on Mohammed bin Saud Almeridi the founder of Al-Saud dynasty and the one who established the first Saudi state, back in 1744 which for the record was bigger than the modern kingdom but it destroyed in 1818, then in 1824 there was the second state which also collapsed in 1891.
    In 1902 Ibn Saud or Abdualaziz ibn Abdulrahman Al Saud established the third state then On 23 September 1932, he united all the regions under one and new name which known as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and that date is now a national holiday called Saudi National Day

    King Saud and king Faisal never had a rivalry between them. King Faisal had different opinions but he always respected Saud and never went above his words. King Faisal took the throne before Saud died due to Saud deteriorating health in the latter stages. Basically Saud gave Faisal the throne and left the country. King Saud (may God keep his soul at peace) had poor finance management skills and spent the oil money in all the wrong ways leading to an economy depression, while Faisal fixed it... Khaled and fahad weren't the ones who built the economy.. It was Faisal who did it.
