Anyone else feel like the show's just randomly been tacking on romantic angles for Carver? They keep pushing the angle that he seems to have a thing for Stella, even though she's happily married and _clearly_ not reciprocating -- let alone even noticing -- Carver's feelings. They they show Violet occasionally looking his way ... What are the writers doing? It's like they're pushing these forced ships to try to make Carter more interesting, even though he's already had some decent storylines going for him.
Then more than likely, there has also been teasing between Carver and Mikami & I think Carver won't dare pursue his married lieutenant. It'll likely change & he will pursue Violet
