0:53 Chief pascal walks in through danger like he was Batman
He had the heart of an Autobot when walking through the firestorm
Bro like:i don't fear,fear hate me
He's got balls of steel to get the injured without a shield.
It's going to take some time for me to like Chief Pascal, but it's clear that he's got guts of steel.
Or he has god complex, I found it utterly ridiculous that he walked around like he was invincible but told everyone else to grab metal shields. I’m hoping he won’t be around long enough for us to get used to him. He’s going to cause nothing but disruption to the house and that’s not good for morale or safety.
I had seen this scene before, and what I was pretty much getting from it was that he's been to a lot of bad fires, and at those fires, he's seen a lot of guys get hurt or killed there
@@alexthenascar_fan8897 but then walk around like he was invincible at the same time telling the others to grab truck steel plates for protection. Setting a pretty bad example for his crew or he’s suicidal and doesn’t care about his own safety. I’m sure he has seen firefighters getting injured and killed which is even worse to act the way he did at the scene.
Pascal was walking like he had ice in his veins and a steel gut. I'm still going to miss the old chief, but I hope he gets good character development and does not be wasted some characters on other shows.
@@GrimmLeoricShadow909 I don’t see how you can change his personality into someone more likable. He came into the firehouse with guns blazing, you know first impressions are important and he made a lousy one. Not getting to know his crew, ordering them to get to know each other, like Cruz said we worked together for years. Instantly showing his dislike for one character and treating them as if he is the principal and they are young students. Not showing them the respect they’ve earned on the job. I don’t know how you can walk that back and suddenly make him more likable. At this point I don’t care what happened to his character in Miami, he is too unlikable to stay at 51. The show will suffer with him and his wife’s character taking precious screen time away from the rest of the cast.
This is based on what happened a few miles from where I live. A young teen was hit in the head from the flying metal and died. The only difference that the building was empty when it happened. There was metal piece as far as 3 miles away. The building next to it had lots of damage. It took about a week for the building to stop burning. And it happened at night!
Chief Pascal earn my respect with this called handle it like a pro
chief pascal reminds me Stephen McCaffrey from Backdraft, he´s like hello u goddamn fire get out I am coming through 😂😂
Interesting comparison
And so it begins. Pascal having to earn the respect of his firehouse.
& I don’t think stunts like that are the way to do it
This chief knows what's he doing ngl.
Using the steel plates normally meant for the aerial ladder outriggers as improvised ballistic shielding that’s actually rather clever.
Still not sure how I feel about this fire chief. But it’s quite clear that he’s willing to put himself in harms way. And this is obviously something that a real leader should do. My father was a fire chief for about 10 years before he passed away. And he made sure that he stayed up-to-date on all of the various moves and everything. He wasn’t in the best of shape, but he stayed relatively fit. And not only that, but he was always willing to listen to any problems that his staff had. If anyone was having troubles with anything, they knew that they could go up to his office and talk to him. Not only that, but he didn’t care for the bureaucratic side of everything. And of course, when needed he was more than willing to put himself in harms way to help people.
Sidenote, I’ve never heard of a vape store going up like it were a fireworks manufacturer. I mean, yes you would have things like butane, lighters, and bottles of the lighter fluid going off. But I don’t think there would be much else.

@@natez9059 I heard about this
It's a tv show they most likely made it more dramatic to stress the situation and make for better entertainment but this is based off a actual event that happened so I suppose anything's possible
What a Bang Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, Chicago Med, unreal opening of the new season on all of the series action plenty best ever this season by this series for sure keep it going cheers from Australia.
I love how the Cheif doesn’t give a damn about the building exploding he will risk his life
Shrapnel doesn't puncture Pascal, Pascal decides to let it bounce off him.
I'm just happy Taylor Kinney didn't leave. There's no show without him ❤❤❤
Welcome Chief
Me encanta #ChicagoFire🤩
Stella & Severide❤
I gotta get use to this new chief won’t be easy I will give him a chance I do miss BODEN tho he was the greatest chief they had won’t be the same without him he’s a OG.
me too😞
@@keanucora4606 As long as the new chief doesn't start saying,
LET'S GO LETS GO LETS GO. He'll be ok.
But if he starts saying that. He's going
@@dominicball7809 that’s BODENS line.
@@keanucora4606 Yep. And if the new cheif says it. HE'S OUT
I dunno but pascal is growing in me
I have a love hate relationship with the new chef
Same
@Gabriel-i2j8g and @Shadow_1287, yep I absolutely agree with you both about the hate/love relationship on the new chief
@@Gabriel-i2j8g do yall think Damon is up to something I don’t trust him
@Shadow_1287 I do think he's up to something. I also don't think he is severide's brother but at least Joe is keeping an eye on him.
@@Shadow_1287 Hello.xx yep I think he's up to something 🤔.
Take care ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
WHAT EP IS THAT
Hopefully we will find out what happened in Miami, something definitely rattled him, probs why he walked out into the falling debris field like he did. At first i thought i wasnt gonna like the new Battalion Chief but i started to like him through the episode.
I am hoping of a Boden return, but this Pascal guy is getting a little more likeable each episode. He just has a different style.
Right, that's it I'm going back to cigarettes at least they don't blow up.
But they are one of the leading causes of lung cancer and plus they don't explode that dramatically
Something is wrong with Chief Pascal......
Something's wrong with the writers and directors of the entire show.
I agree with you about that.
Robochief.
I like new chief
How does a vape store explode like this?
I'm confused. Is this supposed to be really cool and badass, or ridiculously stupid and dangerous?
Stupid and dangerous. Boden would disagree with how the new guy handled this
I just realize truck 81 got a new design, but I still like the old one because it’s a bigger but I would still prefer the new one, but the new one just needs to be a little bit longer 0:57
Unfortunately that's what I feared. After Boden's departure, which was one too many, I wondered if the new chief would be able to ensure when I saw that the character came from Miami and that he had been a firefighter in Chicago at the beginning of his career, I said to myself, well, at least it's a person who knows the city and in particular the former members of the 51, namely Mouch and Hermann and unfortunately the 1st episode didn't tell me. not convinced and I feel that this new leader will cause problems in the future. I really regret the departure of Boden who was one of the pillars of the series adds to the gait that there is no longer Casey or Boden and all the others of the original cast
Chicago fire as well as chicago pd and chicago med which also knew too many main characters and who were the pillars for me these ends I would not watch any of the 3 series anymore
Who missed boden
Me....
Battalion 25 to main doesn't sound the same

Blanda Inlet
What happened to Chief Boden. BTW what happened to um Gallo?
Hmm, not sure.

The new chief has to go
How long is Mulroney going to be on the show. I'm trying to hang in but CANNOT stand this guy. It sucks because there really isn't anything else on in this time slot.
