You know I have totally been thinking the same thing. In fact the perfect person to do that would have been Joe Cruz since he had been given the shift off for Javi's adopting hearing. So he was under no obligation to leave the hospital and return to the firehouse when Boden ordered them to return after they got the update on Stella from Kelly.
And as far as Boden & the Rest of the so called 51 team goes I'm not surprised what so ever that none of them Stayed at the Hospital because they never really have seemed to care about what happens to Kelly or Stella either one for that matter or if they are going to be ok or not ! It's always been that way basically since the series started. Because of the senseless Clueless NO HART whatsoever WRITERS & DIRECTING TEAM ! Like I've said on Several occasions the First 6 seasons of this Series were by far THE BEST SEASONS 👌 Seasons 7-9 were ok but not great 😕 Season 10 👎👎👎👎 Season 11 so far SO SO
I love that the writers wrote Stella as a lieutenant on the truck. because it shows that women can lead men in high pressure situations. and think with a clear level head as well. She has a duty to herself and to the men to always come home. So, when Carver said she took the blast. it was like Stella was like I'm your lieutenant. It is my job to get you home as well. I love that
I didn't get that feeling. I mean the man was uncomfortable at the idea of seeing her with her shirt part way up in the firehouse bathroom as she finished putting that cream on her scar to help minimize its appearance. If he had romantic feelings towards her he would have kept looking at her instead of looking away from her.

He has depths of feelings as an actor with vibes of George Clooney, Paul Newman and Tom Hanks. I also like the newbie Carver. Jake Lockett is like a young Clint Eastwood.
I’m not entirely convinced Carver knows that Stella and Kelly are married. He wasn’t here when the wedding happened and they stay professional at work. So when Carver went to see Stella in the hospital and Kelly was there he looked hurt. And when he did ask what the story with Stella and Kelly was nobody ever really told him. So he’s hopeful for something that will never happen
I hope that they don’t create a stupid separation now in the 12 season … I love them and their love fought everything now they found this work of kelly in ofi so busy that can’t live a life with a wife??!! Please don’t do this my Stellaride ❤️❤️❤️❤️🙈😭😭😭
