Awesome, glad to help! I like giving important details as I find them. Everyone uses the system different, but if I can show how it works for me, hopefully it will help others too! Did you buy one yet?
thanks! you'll like it. which color did you get? I'm a big fan of the foliage, but they're all great. if you buy some of the organizers, they'll fit nicely. .. thanks for watching!
outer limitless Yes got foliage green was on closeout plus 12% discount for easter :). I have micro mini and fatty as well. Merlin backpack and rolypoly backpack. keep up the reviews coming!
That's an interesting bag. How do you like it? I haven't yet had a chance to check out that bag, but I always liked how it has the lower compartment. Seems like an overall very useful size. Yeah, the quality is amazing...no matter how hard you use it they always look clean and maintain almost perfect condition.
I really DO like this bag! I use the lower detachable compartment for my IFAK. The Gyrfalcon's main mission is to serve as my Get Home Bag-it sits ready behind the passenger seat of my Pickup. It has a change of undergarments, two flashlights w/batteries, A titanium hatchet with a titanium saw in the handle, shelter, water, filters, rain gear, and 5 days of no-cook food. It also holds my Yaesu VX-8 Ham Walkie Talkie & its support gear, as well as a small pair of field glasses.
The only thing i dont like about this bag is the "anti-theft" cord that gets in the way of the main compartment zippers (I trimmed mine). Also the paracord zippers doesnt look like it will last long, you can replace them anytime anyways but they could have just used higher quality paracord like that of atwood. Other than that, its the most comfortable bag i have ever carried. Feels like Im carrying nothing.
You should refine your gear it seems like you got alot of cumbersome stuff and alot of the weight is in the clam shell...I bought a pocket organizer which I plan to attach to the side molle on the bottom so it won't be too bulky but I recommend a few small pocket organizers
good god man, YOU are using the bag wrong. it is intented to be accessed while wearing it, you should have gotten a backpack instead. Its like complaining your wallet doesnt keep your sandwich cold.
I'm not so sure what you mean...how can a bag be used wrong? Yes, it's intended on being accessed while wearing it...but that doesn't mean it's ALWAYS accessed while wearing it. Not like I had any real issues with the bag...it's an excellent bag and I carried it a long time. And yes, I did get a backpack. Just because I posted one video doesn't mean that's the only one...

Thank you for making this video. I'm thinking about buying this bag, & your video was the most helpful of any I've watched. I've subscribed.

I have a Gyrfalcon I got last Christmas. I echo your evaluation of the quality. These Maxpedition bags are BULLETPROOF!

Sweet...that's a good use for that. Do you bring it out and carry it ever, or does it mainly stay in your vehicle?
Mainly stays in my truck. But, I hope next month to pull it out, modify the load and do a three day backpack in Central OR.
Oh great! Yes, the bag will be very thankful to get the trip time...haha!! Enjoy it! Sounds amazing!
good info..good review.thanks
Glad it was helpful!! You thinking about getting a Sitka?
What is the organizer called you pulled out
That's a discontinued organizer from 4 or 5 years ago. 'm not sure what the name is...sorry!
