It is foolish to claim without evidence Paul was “sent” to Russia by anyone. Therefore, conjecture and blame are completely pointless. The man was held in crude conditions by the Russians for 2,043 days, physically assaulted by a fellow inmate, then finally released as part of, you guessed it, a prisoner exchange. I for one, am glad he was released.
